  We took our two cats for their rabies vaccines. I called to verify the cost (as it is nowhere on their website) and was told it would be a total of $75 for each cat. Husband gets to the appointment and was told the vet won't do the vaccines unless she does an exam, which is another $50 per cat. Should have been told that ahead of time but the cats need their vaccine. At no time did he ever actually SEE the vet. The cats were taken to another room for the exam and the vaccine. So we are hoping that the extra $100 wasn't just pocketed by them and the cats actually got an exam. And we are assuming they got their vaccines since they gave us the rabies certificates and tags. I have had cats for most of my almost 48 years of life and never has the vet not come in the room to do the initial exam at the very least, as well as any shots.

  I will never forgive yall for killing my Cat, my Cat was very Healthy, you gave him a Rabbis Shot in the wrong spot and 2 days later I woke up found my Cat stiff and Dead because of the Rabbis Shot you gave him. I wish from God that Karma take care of you.

  Brought my cat in today, senior cat to be put down 15 years old .weeks ago he had have blood taken he stressed out. They gave him medication to take home to calm down. It worked couple days later he was calm enough have needle in him Today They stressed him out so bad shaving his paw and try get catheter they did not stop until his heart stop they killed my cat. Why didn’t they stop when they saw how stressed out he was Don’t ever go to them unless you want heartache cause the only thing I have in my head right now is how stressed out my 15-year-old loyal cat was and nobody in his family was there horrible horrible Vet

  Great vets great vet techs. Nice friendly caring people. They are honest with their care. Unfortunately some vets try to get you to spend. This one isn’t like that.

  I didn’t have the best experience at Vetco Pet Hospital in Pottstown on Saturday 6/6/2026 @ 4pm. The lady at the front desk wasn’t very friendly toward us and made several comments that didn’t feel welcoming. At one point, she asked me if I got my dog for free because I didn’t know how to answer one of the questions she asked, which felt inappropriate. The vet also made a comment saying, “What does she know about ear cropping—she’s from Jersey and they don’t do it there anymore.” I didn’t find this accurate, as New Jersey does still have vets that perform ear cropping. The vet also said my dog was too young to have had his ears cropped, which I also don’t believe is correct, since ear cropping is typically done around 8–12 weeks of age. My puppy is 3 months old in about 3 day. Overall, I did not feel welcomed during my visit, and there were multiple comments from the front desk staff that made the experience uncomfortable for me. There was many other remarks made by the front desk.
