  Very disappointed! First we waited about 45 minutes from our scheduled appointment time. A woman came into the room, DID NOT introduce herself and began asking questions about my dog. She took him to another room for shots. After bringing him back and handing me paperwork she then tells me she IS NOT the vet. The vet is busy/tied up and takes me out front to check out. She presented herself as the vet without actually saying it. Said the vet examined him in the back. Paid close to $400, rushed out and never saw an actual veterinary.

  I can not even go into the Pottstown Petco/Vetco the past 2 years or more, due to the choking air quality/ fragrance chemicals in the ventilation now, which caused me anaphylaxis symptoms, even with a heavy mask on. I complained twice. I feel so sorry for the pets, employees that are forced to breathe those toxins. Air fresheners, fragrances are neuro-toxins, allergens, and carcinogens! One third of the population are now severely allergic to fragrances. Get educated. Google toxic chemicals in fragrance -takes 5 seconds. AMA regulation H-135.902 encourages health care facilities especially, to stop using fragrance. Fragrance can also cause seizures.

  A trip to the vet alone, brings a level of anxiety knowing that your fur baby isn’t feeling 💯. And then to put your whole world in the hands of someone else, makes you feel helpless and untrusting. The two times I have brought Riley here, they have shown nothing but love, empathy, and compassion, not only to my baby boy, but to me as well. When your hearts in the right place, it eases worries and doubts and I will continue to drive almost an hour out of my way so that I know that he will get 💯 care and love like they’ve shown both of us. I’m forever grateful to have found such a safe haven, for my helpless fears and I know they pour their heart and soul into everyone and everything that walks through that door. Thank you for just being you, your care, and kindness alone is a breath of fresh air. You girls are pawsome, and our angels! 🐾

  Brought our dog in for a consultation on his continuous licking his lips and also advice on dental care. We are first greeted by Missy, who is so friendly and greeted our dog like he was hers. Then we meet the Vet, Dr. Fletcher. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful while taking the time to explain all aspects of the care our dog will need. This is why we have been coming to Vetco/Petco for years.

  The staff here in the Pottstown’s vetco are incredible!!!!!! So sweet, caring and very friendly. You can tell they really care about your pets here.
