Overall, I had a great experience at Banfield Pet Hospital and would highly recommend taking your pet there, whether it’s for an urgent concern or a routine checkup. They were able to get Mikko in for a next-day appointment, which I really appreciated. From the moment we arrived, the staff was accommodating, communicative, and genuinely caring throughout the entire visit. They took the time to answer my questions, explain everything clearly, and made sure both Mikko and I felt comfortable. You can tell they truly care about the animals they treat, and that made a stressful situation so much easier. I’m very grateful for the excellent care Mikko received.

Dr. M. Shamphale had a wonderful bedside manner with my dog, Fawn. He made her feel calm and gave her a thorough check-up and treatment. He made me feel confident that Fawn was in good hands.

Banfield in Springfield PA took great care of Roo recently when he came in to get his teeth cleaned. They had to remove the remaining teeth they explained the after care very well. I was very impressed with Banfield called the next day to see how Roo was doing.

Save yourself the headache. I've been a fur mom for over a decade and have never had an experience like this. In December 2024, I took in a stray cat before a winter storm and scheduled what was advertised as a free visit. During the appointment, my cat was taken out of the room for examination and later brought back. The veterinarian then asked if there was anything I wanted to know. Considering I had just rescued a stray, I expected more information about his condition and health. I never returned to this location. Approximately 17 months later, I received a collection notice related to an Optimum Wellness Plan. Banfield claims I received $622.78 in services and discounts, yet the only services I recall were the initial visit and a stool sample submitted a few days later. I was also told, "The Free Office Visit coupon was used to discount that cost even though there was no charge for the office visit." That explanation only added to my confusion. Since then, I have learned of prior lawsuits and consumer complaints involving Optimum Wellness Plans, debt collection practices, and other issues. Had I known about those matters beforehand, I would have chosen a different veterinary provider. This was my experience. Do your own research and make an informed decision before signing anything.
