  Enjoy going a bit further to get products I want and helped by friendly staff. Though, I would prefer to receive general discount coupons vs having to scroll through tons of products. Offer me a $ off a purchase of $xx in store and let me pick and choose. That is seriously more time effective and appreciated.

  I took my dog in for a bath and asked for an eye sanitary trim for her. I was told I would have had to add that online when I booked her bath and they do not have time to do it. (You can't add just those items online, my dog was cut a month ago she only needed a trim in those places) 5 days later I take her to another for the trim just to find out they didn't not groom her right and they caused matting in her coat! ( Bernedoodle) Turns out they were supposed to do the trim as a walk in client being it was 9:30 am! Luckily the other location values their customers and got the matting out of my dog. This is the worst petco I have ever been to! #gotostowe

  Horrible customer experience from the general manager Bill. Awful customer service support on the District level. Pray you don’t have something go wrong here they won’t do anything about it at this store. I tried to purchase two female betta fish that were mislabeled as males. After 25 minutes of confirming with the 2 associates in the back that they were both female and had a visible egg spot on their stomach. The general manager immediately dismissed me asking to adjust the price. When I said I would pay the full marked price of the fish and would call petco to adjust the prices he proceeded to lock the fish in his office and refused to sell me them because I was going to complain. These fish cost 3.99 mind you. Petco customer service has not responded after 3 weeks of waiting. I had to call multiple times just to get any update. They said the manager called me, which he did not. The district manager said they confirmed the fish to be males. Are you blind? Don’t buy your fish here they have zero idea what they are doing. Go to a local small business who actually care about the fish and you buying them. Here are the pictures of the female fish labeled black orchid male and green alien male. What do you think? Female or male? Also, here is the insecure manager walking away from the register locking the fish in his big boy office.

  Would not adopt from petco- they have non profit company come to petco to have people adopt pets called “spay and save”. They are awful. We were approved to adopt a cat. All week we gathered toys, supplies, picked out his new name etc and was given a time to pick him up at petco - when we arrived we were told our cat was given away to another family. “Spay and save” messed up our application with another family (even though I spoke with spay and save volunteer 3 times that week about our cat). Instead of taking accountability, we got a very bland apology and stating “we are just volunteers we make mistakes”. My family was devastated- my daughter could not stop crying. Not to mention there was a “spay and save” cat loose in the store while we were there. I would recommend looking into another non-profit establishment before adopting from “spay and save” at Petco- awful and devastating experience.
