I always loved your shop because you carried what I needed at a good price with your special bonus program which you have essentially cancelled. I will be looking for other places or go online to get the prices that suit me. It is too bad that you cancelled your cost savings programs.

I went into buy some aquatic plants. I walked out without any plants. The reason is? Maybe Petco should do something other than employee teenagers that wander around the back of the store chatting with each other and ignoring every single customer.

The employees told me my ferret was a male before I adopted, but when I took my ferret to the vet for a 1 year check up the vet confirmed my ferret is a female. I had to change her name and get in the habit of using female pronouns instead of male pronouns. I already spoke to a manager and employee there, but the issue wasn't resolved. Highly unsatisfied!

I had an AMAZING experience with Ireland today! My 10-pound, 10-year-old Yorkie just had his first surgery (a hernia repair), and his sutures have been itching him to death. Even with his cone on, he’s been miserable trying to get at them.
I’d already been to several other pet stores in the area showing them a photo of the specific hotspot spray I needed. I kept hearing, "Maybe we have it..." or "I think it’s in aisle..." only to walk away empty-handed.
The second I walked into Petco and showed Ireland the picture, she didn't hesitate for a single second. She immediately walked me right to the product. No "maybes," no confusion, just total expert knowledge of her inventory. I even tested my luck by asking for a second product to help my pup, and again, she led me straight to it.
I was in and out in less than five minutes, which was huge since I was pressed for time and already frustrated from the run-around at other stores. We need more associates like Ireland who cut to the chase while staying so pleasant and helpful. Thank you, Ireland, me and my Yorkie really appreciate you!
I visited this location on 4/10/26. I went in thinking of my fish tank, and perhaps getting some Coreys. As I walked in I seen a cat for sale, which was sleeping on a bed and thought it was cute. I headed over to the fish Isle passing the hamsters birds and turtles. As I approached I seen and greeted Makenzie. She was doing some restocking some shelves and greeted me with a smile. I asked her about a piece of drift wood and she answered my questions with confidence. Later after asking about live plants, she went to the next Isle over and showed me plant food. I didn't get the drift wood or the Live plant and headed over and looked at the fish. I first spotted a tank with angel fish and really wanted to get one, but I only have a nine gallon tank that has Five danios, so I was only looking for Coreys to fill the tank. I then spotted the ones I wanted, Spotted( they may have another name, but these ones had spots on them) Coreys and knew those were the ones I wanted. I ended up not getting them though because my tank is still cycling and I need to wait another week for new fish. I did see a very cool looking silver beta that caught my eye. They had a lot of beautiful blue and red ones as well. Where I didn't purchase anything this time around. I will be back next week to get my Coreys.
