  I have been going to Banfield for my dog for 6 years. I have been very happy with their care except for one thing. They have a shortage of vets and sometimes we are canceled at the last minute. I had to bring in a urine sample from early morning which wasn't easy to do. I had to have it there before 3 hours were up. My total milage for the trip was 50 miles. And upon arrival there was a sign saying sorry,we are closed. IF, it wasn't for that issue I would be very happy with the Banfield Clinic.

  I have been calling this location for the last 6 days to get my cats medication refilled. I called different days, different times (during their open hours). Nobody ever answers. It says they are closed each time. I left at least 2 voicemails. Nothing. No call back. No email. No text. Just comoletely ignored. I called another location that is now closest to me. They promptly answered the phone and continued to give me excuses. They said they'd reach out to this location and let me know how I can get her medicine. Crickets. NOTHING. Now my cat has no medicine and I have no place else to go. I moved and live over an hour from this one and need their approval to have her medicine transfered. This is absolutely insane. This place is awful. Stay far far away. I will sue this location if something happens to my cat without her medication.

  Absolutely love Banfield Pet Hospital in Pleasant Hills. We are in the process of switching vets and all other vets had a 6-8 weeks wait. I made the appointment the night before. They have a great app and it is very user friendly. Took our male Akita there for ragweed allergies, which is a yearly issue. We got there early, they immediately got us checked in, did the exam, explained options and treated him within 40 mins and we were out the door. Our dog for the first time ever was very relaxed and comfortable. The Vet Tech; Amanda was very kind and affectionate to our dog. The vet Dr Marit Bakken was phenomenal. She took the time to answer our questions and explained options between allergy shots and allergy pills. We will most definitely be going back to Banfield Pet Hospital for all future problems and concerns. I highly recommend Banfield Pet Hospital in Pleasant Hills. Thank you Banfield !!!!!

  If you need a place to take your furry pet or other non furry pet this is the place to go. They take the time to explain everything and they ask detailed questions so they can provide the best possible care. They make sure you understand everything from start to finish and it makes it so much less stressful. It's easy to get an appointment and they work with you if you have to change the appointment due to unforseen circumstances that do tend to arise from time to time. They all make it a very easy time when pet parents are worried as I have been a time or two.
