DO NOT BRING ANXIOUS ANIMALS HERE.
I recently brought my dog to the clinic for a rabies vaccination and wanted to share feedback regarding the experience. My dog has a known history of anxiety during veterinary visits, which I communicated clearly upon arrival. I explained that in previous appointments, he has responded well when I am present to calmly distract him with treats, allowing procedures such as vaccinations to be completed without issue.
Despite this, I was initially not permitted to accompany him into the exam room. During the attempt to administer the vaccine, I observed staff physically restraining him in the ground, which significantly increased his anxiety and distress.
I intervened and reiterated my concerns, requesting to be present to assist in calming him. When I entered the vet said “he is breathing weird”. I again said it was because he was anxious and did not like to be restrained or pinned down. Once allowed to do so, I was able to distract him with a treat, and the vaccination was completed quickly and without complication.
I was concerned by the lack of consideration given to my input regarding my dog’s behavioral needs. As his owner, I am familiar with effective techniques that help reduce his stress during medical procedures. Incorporating this information from the outset could have prevented unnecessary distress for my dog.

Very unprofessional and rude experience. The female veterinarian gave up on vaccinating my cat after less than two minutes of trying. He was stressed and scared in his carrier, which is not unusual for cats in a clinic setting.
When my cat raised his paw once out of fear, the woman vet immediately claimed he was “trying to attack” and refused to vaccinate him, saying he would be “put on a list” for all Vetco locations. Such an extreme and unprofessional reaction.
Cat owners looking for patience and proper care, avoid this place

The staff was very helpful and friendly. I just adopted a new dog and they were able to help me find everything that I needed to bring my dog home happy and safe. They had a lot of good suggestions and were able to save me a lot of money without wasting it on useless things. I'm now thinking about going back there for training and for vet visits. I will definitely be back for more visits for my pet needs.
