How are you supposed to return something you bought online and picked up at this store. I never got a receipt when the item was picked up and the old red haired lady in the front won't process a return without one. She was incapable of finding the transaction in any other manner, including me showing the email chain for the entire transaction. When asked if she could get some assistance she smugly assured me "the system doesn't work that way".

Manger was unpleasant, nasty and rude. She would not sell me any saltwater fish for anything under a 75 gallon tank. Not even a clownfish.

Dr Treese is the best. He got down on the floor and calmed our anxious Yorkie in 2 mins. Very practical thinker and great advice. We’ve used him ever since he started his practice at All Pet

Great Petco store in north hills. Much better than the Petco in waterworks mall. Their selection is better and it’s much cleaner

Sadly, my experience appears consistent with several other reviews expressing concerns about animal care at this store. I visited to purchase food for my parrots and spent a few moments observing the conures housed nearby. One bird in particular immediately caught my attention. The smaller conure appeared lethargic, with her eyes mostly closed, head tucked down toward her chest, fluffed feathers, body visibly trembling, and one foot drawn up into her feathers. As a parrot owner with more than 30 years of experience caring for birds, I was concerned by what I observed and felt the bird appeared to be struggling to stay warm. I approached the front of the store and asked to speak with a manager. An employee who identified himself as a manager accompanied me back to the enclosure, and I explained my concerns about the bird's condition. He stated that he would get the store's animal manager. Unfortunately, my interaction with the animal manager was disappointing. When he arrived, his demeanor was dismissive from the outset. I explained my concerns regarding the bird, but he did not appear to closely assess the animal before immediately stating that nothing was wrong. At no point did I feel that my concerns were taken seriously or that the bird's condition was given meaningful consideration. Whether or not my assessment was ultimately correct, I believe any customer who raises concerns about the welfare of an animal should be met with professionalism, respect, and a willingness to investigate. Instead, I left feeling troubled by both the condition of the bird and the response I received from management. Animal welfare is extremely important, and this experience left me without confidence in the level of care being provided. For that reason, I will not be returning and felt it was important to share my experience so others can make informed decisions.
