  I would not faithfully recommend this store to anybody at this point—there are aggressive people working there. There are good people suffering there. The staff that is employed is virtually non existent. Arachnids are unlocked and on a display that is unsteady and unsafe for them if incident were to occur. The tanks are so black, brown, and green that you can not see the fish through them. It is a very uncomfortable environment to shop in as I can hear staff members speaking to people via earphones refferring to finding animals in enclosures dead and that it isnt their job to handle or fix the situation. The employees are discussing hamsters killing eachother due to following improper protocol, discussing "barrying" and "shooting" various individuals once they clock out for the day. Once upon a time the Fox Chapel store was visitable, but that has since changed in a very short time frame, and I can no longer faithfully recommend that anybody step foot in that establishment . I cannot ensure anybody's safety or for them to be respected accordingly based on my last two visits. The previous visit before this the cashier would not speak to me and threw my bag of crickets at me once I paid for them. I can NO longer say in a confident matter that Fox Chapel Petco is a place I recommend any person to stroll into looking for a positive reaction, or even looking for a safe, healthy, secure animal that is not being mistreated behind the scenes or put into harms way.

  This store is very understaffed seems I have to always go find an associate for help. Past few times I’ve visited the store a third of your fish tanks are empty or down and the fish selection isn’t very good compared to other locations.

  Sarah is always amazing with Nani. Sarahs's attention to detail keeps Nani's coat healthy and smelling good.

  their grooming questionnaire asks if your pets have any health concerns. this is a trap. if your pet has literally anything wrong at all, they won't groom them - and they won't tell you until 2 hours before the appointment. they said it's "policy" but i took my dogs to pet supplies plus in my previous city with 0 issues.
