This place is a dump and a joke.I brought a perfectly healthy kitten in for an exam it was supposed to be 25.00.. they tried charging me 75.00! They did absolutely nothing. Except look at the cat and tell me she was perfectly healthy. When I went to pay, they were telling me my bill was going to be over 400! 4 tests and a fecal test and flea prevention medicine, which I did not want any of that. I had to fight for them to charge me. The right amount at the end. They are pathetic and money, hungry, disgusting, disgusting place. If I can give it zero stars, I would

After multiple issues at this location—and as newer patients—we’ve decided to step away. The facility is not clean, and it’s clear the staff does not prioritize the well‑being of animals.
Our very first appointment felt rushed, but I tried to give the benefit of the doubt. I explained that one of my dogs has chronic stomach issues and requires medication he has received from both his previous vet and an ER. I asked whether this would be a problem moving forward and was assured it would not be.
The next issue came when I called for flea and tick medication. The staff member told me it would be filled and ready the next day. When I arrived, it wasn’t prepared, and I was questioned about whether my dogs had ever received the medication because—only then—I was told there records had never been received. The same staff member who spoke to me on the phone acted like she didn’t know who I was until I recognized her voice. I waited nearly 40 minutes while they tried to sort it out.
Since then, I’ve received repeated texts saying my dogs were “due” for appointments, even though they had just been seen. When I asked for clarification, I was told they simply didn’t have my dogs entered correctly in their system.
The most concerning issue happened when my dog had a severe stomach flare‑up—vomiting every 10 minutes, not eating or drinking. I called to request the medication he has always needed during these episodes. They refused and said he needed to be seen in person, then offered an appointment three weeks out. That was useless for an urgent medical situation. I had to take him to the Hershey ER, where the staff was compassionate, responsive, and truly cared.
Today, my other dog was bitten in the face. When I called, I was told they would check with the doctor, only to be told they couldn’t see her and that I should go to the ER—exactly why I was calling them in the first place.
At this point, I don’t see the purpose of having a “regular vet” here. They never have openings, they can’t provide necessary medications, and the overall attitude shows a lack of genuine care. Their services are not cheap, and I’d rather spend my money at a facility that actually cares about animals.

Been taking all my pets here for the past 5 yrs. Dr. Zimmerman is amazing. She treats my boy which is a pitty like he’s any other pup (which he loves going there)

Another Private Equity garbage clinic that intentionally runs up unnecessary and overpriced charges without holding up their end of the service deal. Took advantage of my mother and charged 800+ and 1) did not follow up on results of tests 2) did not forward anything to other clinic as promised 3) played dumb the whole time.
“PetVet Care Centers” is a profit maximizing entity that runs a bunch of these clinics, like this one.
