- MBMaryann BeluschakSep 29, 20265.0I have been told by other vets that Romeo was a high anxiety dog. I was amazed at how calm he was there and when he came walking out from the back he walked out like he owned the place.
- MKM KSep 25, 20265.0My dog was very sick...likely pneumonia. I was able to get in Banfield Pet Hospital in Monroeville PA the next day by using the drop off option at 9:16am. I was first quoted $900 and that was just for tests & X-rays. I declined for financial reasons and said I was pretty sure it was kennel cough turned pneumonia. Later that day around 4ish they called& I spoke with the vet who said it was probably that but without testing she couldn't positively say which I understood. I went to pick her up and we got a 7 day run of doxycycline for $52 & I was able to use the Banfield Pet Hospital online coupon for first visit free!(Its for real!) So time will tell, but I'd not have been able to afford a vet visit any other place. I'm grateful & hopefully my dog recovers. The place is spotlessly clean, organized and the staff super friendly and accommodating. The vet was very patient and kind when I spoke with her.

Also having Banfields's OWP health plan has helped save us significantly on basic health appointment costs! Highly recommend Banfield's OWP plan - Great Value for money spent - and if you're reading this, you know there's nothing you wouldn't pay for your fur babies ( dogs, cats, chinchillas, critters - all your animal companions & cohort's 😉).

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
