  I went there on the morning of August 9th, 2026 with my 12 year old French Bulldog, Frankie. He had diarrhea and was vomiting up white foam. He couldn’t keep down water. When I told the receptionist what was going on, she said it sounds like a blockage and I’ll probably need to go to an animal hospital. I said I would like to stay and have him seen. A $600 X-ray confirmed there was no blockage and I was given medication to treat gastroenteritis. As we were leaving, a large amount of blood shot out of my dog’s rectum. I was horrified. I told the receptionist and the girl with black hair, dressed all in black, who had taken my credit card payment, what had happened. They reassured me it was OK. The receptionist commented that this was what was seen on his examination. When I went to pick up my dog, he leaked more blood. I asked to see the doctor, something wasn’t right, and again they said it was OK, they have seen much worse. I took them at their word and left. Less than 24 hours later, Frankie was completely paralyzed and had to be humanely euthanized. My sweet, gentle boy was failed by them and they clearly should not be giving out medical advice. I am devastated.

  I had a wonderful experience at Rossmoyne Animal Hospital & Urgent Care Center. I brought my dog, Rani, in for a concerning GI issue, and the entire staff was so friendly, compassionate, and informative. They took the time to explain everything and made me feel heard and reassured during a stressful situation. I’m so grateful for the care they gave Rani and would definitely recommend them! ❤️🐾

  We brought in our senior kitty for what ended up being her last visit. The staff, tech, and doctor were very compassionate and caring during a very sad time for our family. I highly recommend their care!

  Got us in right away when my usual vet was booked up and couldn't get my girl in for a week. Doctor was friendly and helpful & the cost really wasn't as much as I was expecting from an emergency vet.

  Would give zero stars if I could. We went here because our vet said it was like an urgent care. They treated me poorly and the care was also subpar. They don’t know how to deal with large dogs and actively made my dog more afraid by their demeanor. We will never return and I have since warned tons of people not to go to this vet. If you need an emergency vet, Hershey is eons better than this place.
