Well this was perfect timing! No I do not love it and NO I will never bring my dog or any other animal your facility. My dog ended up in a legitimate Vet hospital after your vets act like they are afraid of dog snd sent him home. I tried to cancel my plan today after being double charged for the plan 191 dollars they tied to charge me to cancel plan. Because of their incompetence my dog almost passed away AND I know have a 10,000 dollar bill. Grateful he is healing because he was taken to Hershey Emergency Vet hospital. Your vets need to take some lessons from their vets!! I want my plan STOPPED without being billed. And the refund for double billing. oh and your customer service Sucks!! What a horrendous horrible experience! Cancel my account. 00000 stars. You should be ashamed of yourself Banfield!

This location has a terrible service. Where do I even begin. Went to Banfield in Lancaster for years before we moved and never had an issue. Dropped off our dog for her yearly/comprehensive at 8:30am, no ballpark given on when she’d be ready for pickup. Called twice to check-in - “we’ll call you when she’s done”. She was done at 5PM. That’s 8.5 HOURS. My fiancé had to miss important work event because no one in their right mind would estimate it to take this long. Receptionist gave an “oh well” gesture during pick up when he politely expressed his dissatisfaction. Doesn’t end with that - I receive a voicemail stating my dog has glaucoma and probably hypothyroidism - first time hearing about it - and that they forgot to give a script for a prescription. After 8.5hours. And that we can COME BACK for it. We don’t live 5 minutes away. I drive up the next day, Google shows “Closes at 6”. I walk in - lights are dimmed, 1 receptionist there who informs me she cannot give me the script because “they closed at 5 and system is shut off”, tells me to “come back tomorrow”. This must be a joke, right?.. I mention Google hours only to find out none of them are accurate. I submit an edit to Google - still not approved, aka a matter of time till others have the same issue. I ask receptionist to have doctor call me, I have questions: about glaucoma & prescription, possible hypothyroidism, if she is supposed to stay on her prescription diet or not - script on Chewy is running out. I get no call back. Calling myself the next day - “doctor is not in today”, despite receptionist checking and telling me to my face she would be in. I ask again to call me back. No call. Calling myself again - 30min on hold. 3 times call was picked up, I heard a giggle, and was placed right back on hold. Highly do not recommend this place.

Service to my pet is great. The monthly fee does not give Senior pet parents a discount of any sort. Senior pet parents get one check a month. Senior pet parents really need a discount or a set amount per month instead of raising it every year!!!! Thank you for your prompt attention to this important matter. This is not the first time I’ve asked nor will it be the last I think it’s something you’re missing in the in the Care.

Been with Banfield for 12 plus years. Mechanicsburg, PA. Office is the worst mis managed office. I would avoid this office, service is terrible and total lack of responsibility. Try another office, each office is totally different reference professionalism and customer service. Mechanicsburg lacks both of these characteristics.

Bring your pet here at your own risk. This location has the most incompetent and unprofessional staff of any location I’ve ever experienced. Today this location injected my dog with a vaccine WE EXPLICITLY DID NOT AUTHORIZE (we were dealing with the practice manager who we had an entire conversation about why we were NOT doing the vaccine today) because it was a) not due yet and b) we were here for a traumatic injury appointment. Come time to pick up my dog, I find out they have given him the shot, and when questioned about it (practice manager still here) she admits she remembers not being authorized and is “going to get an answer.” The only answer I ever received was “legal requirements”. BS. The law in PA requires INFORMED CONSENT and you did not have the legal or licensing authority to make that decision for me. Second, again, IT WAS NOT EXPIRED! Why was this not an issue 12 DAYS earlier, or 3 weeks before THAT when I had my previous two appointments? Not once did this vaccine come up BECAUSE IT WASN’T DUE. This location (and Banfield in general) have a frequent habit of not reading the notes and just doing whatever it is they want. That is not just morally wrong, but professionally negligent and a blatant violation of the law. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and utterly incompetent. I am serious when I say use this location at your own risk. This time it was a vaccine he wasn’t due for. Next time it could be one of the numerous times Banfield has killed someone’s pet, doubled down, and refused to provide clear and reasonable answers to what happened and why. This company, and this location especially, is such a disgrace. Please find a local vet. We have used Banfield for years because they are convenient when you move frequently. Now that we have settled down, it’s time to find a local family owned vet that actually cares about the pets they treat and the customers they service.
