  I was a loyal grooming customer at this Petco location for about 5 years and trusted them with both of my dogs their entire lives. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled completely changed my opinion of this salon. My online booking access was suddenly removed without any warning or explanation. I initially thought it was a technical issue because nowhere in Petco’s emails, texts, or booking system are there clearly communicated policies explaining that online booking access can be revoked over cancellations or reschedules. After days of phone tag, I was eventually told there were “multiple notes” on my account, but when I asked for clarification only two appointments were specifically mentioned: one where I called ahead because construction would make me late so I had to reschedule, and one missed appointment due to an emergency involving my cat after surgery. What bothered me most was the complete lack of communication. At no point over the years did anyone ever discuss concerns with me or explain that scheduling issues could lead to restrictions. Instead, notes were apparently added without my knowledge until my online booking was suddenly blocked. The management response made the situation even worse. When I asked to speak with the general manager, I was connected to a man who refused to identify himself, told me to contact customer support, and abruptly hung up on me. I later learned from the assistant manager that the actual GM is female. I completely understand groomers losing money from missed appointments. What I do not understand is the lack of transparency, professionalism, and communication shown to a long term customer simply trying to understand what happened.

  I can’t rave enough about Will and the rest of the grooming team here! I have a cockapoo and they always do a phenomenal job with his cut! Thank you all for your excellent customer service and top notch grooming skills!
