I honestly have to say I was very disappointed in the whole experience. my reason for trying this clinic is that I am currently researching other vets as I was not happy where I was. my cat was due for her vaccinations, and when I came across the information for this clinic, I thought it would work perfectly for us at this time. I was told the visit would take 10-15 minutes, which was great, as my cat typically doesn't like the vet, and I also have a ridiculous schedule right now and not much time. our appointment was scheduled for 5:15. I raced home from work to get my cat and get there in time. I was 10 minutes early as told to be, as I value the time of others. I had to wait over 10 minutes to actually check in. after that I sat waiting for a half an hour past our appointment time to be called back. I was already pretty irritated by this. they allowed me back in the room but would not let me near my cat while they attempted to get her out of her carrier. the assistant opened her carrier like there was a lion in there waiting to pounce. my cat wouldn't come out of her carrier because she was scared. he closed the side and opened the top. he lifted her out with no issue. she was fine, just scared. the vet immediately through a leash on her like she was going to bolt and said if she tries to scratch or bite they would not take care of her. really? so I took it they didn't have any experience or interest handling cats. my cat wasn't doing anything. she was hardly moving because she was petrified. the vet was rather rude, I felt, and it really put me off. Coco was fine, there was no hissing and no sign of aggression. so she got her 2 vaccines and was supposed to get a dewormer. when they didn't give it to her, I asked about it. the vet said they would be sending that home for me to do. I was like, "excuse me?" the vet made excuses that my cat was already upset and she could throw up on the way home. ok, so my cat was not acting upset in the least, she was just scared, and she's never thrown up in the car. could there be a first time, sure, but that's not the point. the point in all of this is my cat sat in her carrier for over an hour before she was tended to, my time, that I didn't really have, was wasted waiting way past our appointment time, I paid for services I did not receive (hence the dewormer), which I had to do myself, and I truly found the vet to be rather rude and very "short" in her words. at the end when they brought me out my paperwork, they forgot to give me the dewormer. I had to ask, again, for it. maybe I just don't know how these things go, but it is not something I care to do again. I found the price originally to be reasonable enough I guess in today's times, but after that experience, I feel the cost wasn't worth it. I realize they weren't going to spend the time with Coco that a regular vet would, however the way they treated her, and me, I felt was not appropriate. the assistants were decent enough, though one clearly was just learning. this was just not what I thought it would be. I expected well trained individuals who knew how to handle animals of varying degrees and a stream-lined experience, as they do these clinics frequently enough. I wouldn't expect them to care for a truly aggressive animal, but that was not the case here and I should not have had to perform any of those services, that I paid for, myself. very upsetting. they should pay me for the cost of giving my own cat her dewormer. very disappointed.
