- MMia !3 days ago1.0i used to really like coming to this store to buy dubia roaches and general stuff for my leopard gecko and had no issues before this, but recently i have been finding maggots/larva or whatever you wanna call it, mold, and fruit flies in the containers (AT THE STORE.) there were also little white bugs crawling around in the "food" for the dubia roaches. i definitely would not recommend buying from or supporting petco at all because i've just seen some sad stuff here.

We had gotten everything needed for it, and picked out the fish he wanted, the nice man there bagged up the fish for us. When I asked a woman working if I had picked the correct food for the fish she stared talking to me like I was an idiot and telling me we were not allowed to buy the goldfish and she refused to sell it to us. As I was standing in the area looking at different tanks and fish, she went up to the man who bagged the fish for us and said "if thats for them, they aren't allowed to have it , put it back" She was extremely rude, talked to me like I was an idiot, and made the entire experience terrible. My son was very upset after this. Will never give this place my business again and I'll make sure to let everyone i know about this experience as well so they can also shop elsewhere.
