  We left Sophy’s recent appointment at Banfield Exton disappointed with the communication. My wife felt judged and spoken to condescendingly when she asked questions about managing Sophy’s hip dysplasia. Sophy is 12, and when her pain is relieved, she tends to run and jump as though nothing is wrong. We were worried about her injuring herself and wanted guidance on balancing pain relief with safe activity. Instead, my wife left feeling embarrassed for raising the concern. We also declined ear cleaning, joint supplement chews, and ear cleaning solution, but still received products and saw related charges on the invoice. Clearer communication and confirmation beforehand would have helped avoid that confusion. We care deeply about Sophy and appreciate the team’s role in her care. We hope future visits feel more respectful and collaborative, with our questions and preferences taken seriously.

  ⭐️ 1/5 — Extremely Frustrating Experience I scheduled a 3:30 PM appointment online at Banfield Pet Hospital specifically to have my dog’s annual vaccinations completed before leaving for vacation. I arrived at 3:30 as scheduled, only to be told that the clinic was closing and they would not honor the appointment. What makes this even more frustrating is that the clinic’s posted closing time is 4:00 PM. If the clinic is unable or unwilling to see vaccination appointments at 3:30, that time should NOT be available to book online. Now I’m left scrambling to find another veterinarian at the last minute because my dog is due for his annual vaccines and cannot be boarded without being up to date. This was completely avoidable and incredibly inconvenient. Beware of booking appointments online with this location. An available appointment time apparently does not mean they will actually see you when you arrive. Very disappointing experience.

  Took my puppy in because he wasn’t eating or going to the bathroom. Dr. Nancy Chen ran tests and got an xray. She told us that he had multiple fractures and that according the blood tests there was internal bleeding and that our puppy was going to pretty much die. Took him to a different animal ER and all vitals came back normal, no internal bleeding and didn’t have fractures. More of a sprain/pulled ligament. Puppy just needs rest. Cannot fathom how a Vet can get everything so wrong and have us worried sick all day over nothing. Either God performed a miracle, which maybe He did, or Dr Nancy Chen is completely inept and should not be allowed to continue being a vet.
