  I purchased an axolotl from Wet Pets roughly 6 months ago, the staff was friendly and incredibly helpful answering any questions I had. I only come here to restock on supplies and each time the owner is delighted to hear updates on my tank. 10/10 recommend

  This is probably my favourite fish store in the western Pennsylvania area. It has the typical fish store problems like the rare disease and dead fish in at least one tank per visit. Along with being overpriced in all aspects. The livestock, hardscape, plants, and supplies are all more expensive than you'd find anywhere else. At the moment they are selling two inch discus, some of which were clearly stunted and/or starving, for $130. I don't blame them for having some discus in poor shape since they are extremely finicky fish and sometimes won't eat. But the price is far from being justifiable for 2in discus, much less shabby 2in discus. I also didn't love when I brought in a school of Buenos Aires tetras, which I called ahead about and they said they would take. But they supposedly could not offer me a discount or anything for them. A little grating when I know they're going to turn around and sell fish I raised for a silly price while giving me nothing in return. I just decided to bite the bullet instead of going through hoops to rehome them myself. The good things about this place are in the variety they hold, not just fish and fish products. They have exotics from birds to lizards along with their care products. The staff is typically friendly and knowledgeable. They have the staple fish stocks and some really interesting or more unique ones here and there. It's fun to have a cruise up and down the aisles even if I'm just there for food. It's worth stopping in and checking it out for fish you've been struggling to find. You won't have a bad experience here.

  Absolute best source for any aquarist. Friendly staff, they have just about everything and the birds are fun to talk to. Bonus, they take excellent care of all the animals, you can tell they care.
