Had order online for some tiki cat food; Ordered hard and wet food. I waited over an hour on the phone just for them to tell me that one of the items is out of stock in person. One of the employees tried to “accommodate” for my items by still making me pay, how am I going to pay when you took my money for an item that you guys said was in stock..? You guys need to do inventory better because that’s ridiculous!

Very frustrating experience with the grooming department at this Petco location. I had a 4:00 PM grooming appointment for my Maltese and drove approximately 30–35 minutes with my children and my dog. I arrived around 3:40 PM which was 20 minutes early for her appointment only to be told by the groomer that she could not groom my dog because her grandmother had passed away. I completely understand a family emergency but I was frustrated that I was not properly notified before making the long drive. I was told a text had been sent but the only text I received was the standard appointment reminder telling me to arrive about 10 minutes early. I even asked if the other employee could at least bathe my dog since the groomer had to leave. I was told the other employee was about to leave as well so there was nothing they could do. I was also told by the groomer that my dog’s rabies vaccine expired and she needed another up to date one before she could be groomed. Because of that information I made another trip to the same Petco location two days later for the vaccination at Vetco. Only for the Vetco staff to tell me that my dog was already up to date and was not due for her rabies vaccine until April 2028. I even brought the vaccination information back inside to the groomers and asked if they could groom her since she was already there. Again, I was told the groomer was leaving in a few minutes. At this point I had made multiple trips, spent money on gas and rearranged my day based on information that turned out to be incorrect and yet my dog still never received the grooming service I originally scheduled. I understand that emergencies happen but the communication and customer service throughout this experience were extremely disappointing.
