I was able to make a next day appointment online for my Sphynx cat. She had scratched her naked neck, and from itching it with her back claws, she got some bacteria in there. The entire staff at Banfield was so nice and chill. They did a skin test on my girl and confirmed bacteria. They gave us an ointment to take home and she got a shot. Kimber was already looking better. The Veterinarian was so kind and I could tell she liked my sweet old girl, Kimber. Very happy with our experience and will be back. Fair pricing also!

Brutal Truth is Banfield is a giant SCAM. Whatever you do DO NOT EVER call them if your pet is seriously ill. I called for an urgent appointment to find out if they could help my beloved cat with something that he had mistakenly ingested that was clearly preventing him from eating food and he was beginning to be limp and listeless. I knew before going to them that he had no fever, and was just looking weak, skinnier than usual, and was vomiting far more than a healthy cat should. With even just this information, Banfield should have done the right thing and told me to take him immediately to the ER but of course that isn’t their corporate incentive. Instead of prioritizing my animal Banfield and their receptionist felt that it was a better idea to possibly sacrifice the life of my beloved animal in order to get their pound of flesh (85$ appoint from me). This was despite them knew they couldn’t operate on him, they knowing full well before I even brought him in, that they could do NOTHING to help him whatsoever as they don’t even provide basic surgery or apparently even IVs for sick animals. Regardless, for some reason (money) they never bothered to tell me that at all until I had wasted hours of my and his urgent care time waiting for, driving to and from an appointment with my slowly dying animal in extreme pain and misery. Additionally, after having wasted our time they sent me to an actual emergency room that no longer even existed at the location (tannesbourne Tigard) so I wasted yet more time driving to and from places that couldn’t help us at all. To me as someone who works in childcare and has been trained in basic triage and emergency procedures, I’m sure they knew what they were doing was wrong but they simply didn’t care and did what they wanted to anyway and to Me that qualifies them as some of the most immoral and disgusting vets I have ever had the misfortune of entrusting with my precious animal. I hope no one else will Make my mistake and trust these completely greedy and incompetent vets with pets that matter to them in an emergency situation. I know I certainly won’t be making that mistake ever again.
