- TDTiffany DuprawJul 14, 20261.0I have never been so insulted by a veterinarian in all of my life. This story starts with how incredibly rude every person I encountered was to me. They refused to let me go back with my dog for her visit until I heard yelpinh and yelling. I will NEVER return and will continue to post horrible reviews and hope that others will rethink using Banfield in Salem!!

(She’s a puppy and I DID take her potty right before) I could hear them screaming at her from the lobby. Then he proceeded to tell me that his shoe had urine on it and basically It was my fault. As soon as my puppy plan is up I will NEVER return. Please please take your pets elsewhere!!!!

Super frustrating and unprofessional when my dog was extremely ill

The reason for my one start review is based mostly on their time management. I've been coming here for 10 years now and I've never been seen at my appointment time. It's unprofessional to ask people to arrive 10 minutes early and then not see them until 30 minutes after their appointment time.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
