  This is a wonderful store. I am a woman who is blind. My service dog kombi, who was older and I came here for training. Now, I bring my service puppy in training, Sneachta here. All the staff such as Emma, Sam, Nash and Grey, are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The trainer, which was jess, was amazing!!! Dog training has now been taken over by Ashley. She is great also. We are working with my puppy on obtaining her CGC and service dog certifications. The grooming staff are all amazing as well!!! Jamie, Collin, Taylor and anyone else I'm forgetting all do amazing work. The managers, Jenny and Dave, are awesome. This is a fabulous place!!!

  Posted: 8/11/2026. 😡 Dear Petco Store Manager, I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding a deeply upsetting experience at your Jantzen Beach Petco location on August 6th, 2026. As a loyal Petco customer for over 10 years, the treatment we received seriously jeopardizes our patronage. We brought our 13-year-old rescue cat in for a vaccine appointment. The veterinarian on duty, Dr. Kevin Raymond, treated us a lack of professionalism and respect. After overhearing a brief mention of her age and digestion, he abruptly demanded to inspect Lacey in her pet stroller. His examination was incredibly brief, yet the clinical notes he recorded were highly inaccurate and distressing. Dr. Raymond noted that Lacey was severely underweight (BCS 3/9), unkempt, and vomiting weekly, and he incorrectly logged her weight as only 1 pound. He reached these conclusions without asking us for any clarifying context. In reality, Lacey is well-cared-for. I've attached a picture of her. She is 13 years old. The veterinarian claimed that 13 is too old to get a vaccine. Sincerely, Elizabeth Johnson & Jeffrey Ward PS, I tried emailing this earlier, but the email address I had rejected it. Also, to be fair you retail staff were very nice and sympathetic towards us.

  Employees were friendly and helpful. They loaded my aquarium in my car without request and were very careful.

  My goto place for all my dog,cat and bearded dragon needs, parking is easy, multiple locations, I can even return in any store, warranty, if the size does not fit they accept returns or exchanges. Gteat quality, fast service, great variety a closeout zone with great deals. I love this store

  I don’t know if all of the petco stores have the same quality of employees working at this store because I have never been to another one. It’s always been convenient even when they were down on delta park area. But I’ve always gotten quality care for my Boone (male dachshund) long curly hair and Jammie is his go to stylist. Goes in looking like Howard Stern and comes out like Tom Cruise
