A wonderful experience and am so glad that my sweet Vern has found his new “health care team!” Vern is a “bullador” as in 1/2 English Bulldog and 1/2 Black Labrador Retriever. Father (Leroy the lab) ‘jumped da fence’ and had a tryst à la one-night stand with Gwynne (mama English Bulldog.
- MPMarie PhillippiSep 30, 20265.0I brought my 2 cats, Fric & Frac in for their 6 month check up and they found fleas! They are also just a bit overweight. In both cases, the vet and nurse were VERY helpful in helping out both problems. So appreciate having a place to take my beautiful tuxedo cats.

Throughout the years, my dog has been seen by several doctors at other Banfield locations and this location and Dr. is by far the best one I have ever gone to! I highly recommend this location to any pet parent!
- JNJeanie NJun 28, 20265.0We are on the wellness program and with our busy lives, appreciate we are. That means routine checkups, vaccinations and dental cleanings for our dog. In our dogs last routine checkup, Dr Nickel noted something was off with his spleen and wanted further checking. So we built a multi week care plan that would result in eventual surgery. Unfortunately my dog went downhill two weeks later but knowing what Dr Nickel has warned us about we took him in again and Dr Boutet sent us to the emergency hospital. This could have been a worse outcome for our dog and appreciate the diligence of Dr Nickel and Dr Boutet whom we’ve been with for 8 years.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
