I've always loved Pet Co, I've been extremely loyal to them for years for supplies, and I find the vital care perks MORE than pay for themselves. Recently I was struggling to get my cat seen at any vet, hospital, etc. when he refused to eat. He does not miss meal time and he has a huge attitude when we are even a minute late putting his food in front of him so this was an immediate emergency in my brain. I genuinely thought it was probably respitory because he had laryngitis when he was younger. I called Vet Co because I just moved here and this is the first time I've seen a pet co with a vet co so I took the chance to call, and they got him in SO QUICK, they were kind, spoiled him, and cared about his stress levels so much. Unfortunately it's much worse for my baby than a sinus infection. It seems his teeth or a tooth is causing him great pain, which cats are amazing at hiding. No vet has ever mentioned the possibility of tooth resorption (FORL) I had no idea it even existed, it's actually not a rare thing, something for every owner to be aware of, while we aren't 100% positive this is the cause of his mouth pain, they were able to swiftly get him scheduled for dental procedure (took him initially on Thursday, blood work Friday because he was spicy on Thursday and needed some gabapentin to manage stress/pain, procedure is on Monday) to confirm this suspicion as well as fix the problem, I thought it would cost thousands but even with the extensive things they do to make sure he's okay and safe the prices are surprisingly affordable and they have ways to help any owner get their babies care if the up front financial burden is too much. They came up with a plan to make sure I can keep him fed and manage his pain while we wait for procedure day, and while it's a battle I would have never figured this out in my own and I don't even want to think of what could have happened with out the team at Vet Co. I can't express my gratitude enough, especially how much they truly care about his stress levels. 🥹 They have even texted me to ensure I can ask questions and not do this alone. I will update this review after his procedure as well, but five stars is not enough, they need 50!
