- SPStacy PollardMar 1, 20261.0Dog is traumatized. Our very playful puppy went in for grooming. The groomer said he needed to be buzzed due to matting. He had some matting on his back but not on his head, stomach, or tail. they didn't follow what we asked and shaved his whole body. He is refusing to play, walk, and has been scared for the last few days of everything. This was a fearless dog. My husband also witnessed the groomer behind rough with another dog. Never use this place, I'm hoping I don't need to take my dog to the vet for anxiety meds after this.

My appointment that I had booked for over a week was canceled the same day of the appointment, keeping in mind Petco will not accept a same day appointment but they can cancel one, the double standard is crazy. When trying to call in to reschedule no one answered the phone after multiple attempts (one attempt did not go to voicemail because someone picked up then hung up) and when they finally did answer I was offered an appointment another week out.... I called PetSmart and got an appointment same day, end of story. Save your time and skip Petco grooming and head over to PetSmart if you actually want an appointment!!
