  I was with my wife, and went to Petco at the 41st and Yale store in Tulsa, Oklahoma., to get some baby mice as pets. The person that sold us the mice said that they were feeder mice and would not live long. We ensure that they were pets and were not going to be fed to a snake. Within a week all of the mice died at the same time. Which we are used to raising mice as pets. When returning the mice to the store, a store manager, named Missy pulled the employee that was helping us aside, and started bad-mouthing us. Saying we didn't no how to take care of animals and not to sell us any animal. So we contact another store manager, to find out how to report this poor of excuse of a store manager. This manager wanted to know what happened and was on our side. Was helpful and even gave us numbers to call and told us to call the general manager. Then while shopping at another store at 41st and Yale next to this Petco, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This same manager started yelling at us saying don't try to buy any animals from her store again? Needing to buy some hamster food, we went into Petco, to buy some. This manager named Missy, followed us around the store like we were thieves. Then telling us that she would never sell us anything, from the store and that we were banned from the store? Even though, we didn't do anything wrong. After calling the general manager of the 41st and Yale store, we told her what happened and even about her yelling at us in the parking lot. She said, that basically she was taking the store manager's side. Even though she was not present at any of this whatsoever, she is still taking the side of the manager. This manager was very rude, and unprofessional and should not be a store manager and has no business working with the public. The general manager, should not be taking side unless she was present to see and hear what was being said.

  We had the worst experience with employee named Sherry. She was awful and every time I see her she is rude. It was hard to get help even when we were within the 30 day period. Every frog we have bought here dies within a few days. If Sherri is in management she needs training in ethos, integrity, and people skills. She is always on her phone. Even her store picture shows her on her cell phone. We have found a great store in Sapulpa. We will no longer visit a Petco.

  I found what I needed quickly, and the checkout was pretty speedy too. Clerk was friendly and efficient and very welcoming.

  Called up to their store yesterday and asked about their grooming services. I asked about their dog nail clippings and times of service and amount that was charged. While on phone call they told me unprovoked about their 2-5 happy hour for their nail clippings. So I then asked if I needed to make an appointment, was told it was not necessary since it was considered a walk in service. Get there today at 4 and stand at grooming station for about 10 minutes rung their "bell for service" 3 times. No one came out and no one helped me. So went all the way to front cashier and was told they left early because they did not have any appointments on the "books". So I left and had to find another place. Called the general manager later and talked to her about it and she just kept making an excuse saying there was "certain circumstances" that made it where no one was available. Instead of just owning up to it and say sorry I sent them home early. And on top of all that, why not put a sign on the grooming desk or door that they left early today. She just kept making excuses instead of owning up to it. Very unprofessional.

  I'm sorry if I have confused Petco with Petsmart. I say stuff wrong sometimes like my mom did at sometimes. But we always knew what she meant or was trying to say. 😊 Both of these stores are fun places to shop at for pets in Tulsa, OK. They have everything a pet could need.
