Dr Evraets and Ana were so completely helpful to us. My mom’s dog had a bad skin infection and they were so helpful! They were kind to the dog, and were able to help her feel better. We’re so grateful for them.

We took our dog here after he chipped his tooth because we wanted to make sure it was okay and wouldn’t become infected. He was still acting like his happy normal self, but we wanted to be cautious. They were quick to get us in, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the actual appointment felt very rushed. They spent maybe two minutes talking about his tooth, and the remainder of the visit felt focused on trying to sell us their pet wellness plan. We were told the tooth either needed to be repaired to save it or pulled entirely. The vet also told us he was going to be in a lot of pain, so they prescribed pain medication. When we asked about pricing, we were told the extraction would be around $1,000, and that did not include either the x-ray or sedation (I cannot remember which one specifically). They then explained that with their wellness plan the cost would drop to around $800, but that plan itself costs over $100/month. We left the appointment extremely stressed, trying to figure out how we were going to afford everything. We decided to monitor him while giving him the medication. After about two days on the medication, he completely stopped eating. He was still playing normally, chewing on bones, and acting like himself otherwise, so naturally we became concerned. Because the vet had emphasized how much pain he would supposedly be in, we started wondering if his tooth had suddenly gotten worse. I called back asking for a detailed estimate for the extraction, and they told me someone would call within 24–48 hours with a breakdown of costs. It has now been several days, and we never received a call back. In the meantime, we got two additional opinions from other vets. Both told us the tooth did not need to be pulled, and both were concerned about the dosage of medication he had been prescribed. One even compared the dosage to something they would expect for a much more serious injury, like a broken bone. Not a chipped tooth. While taking the medication, our dog developed a fever, abnormal stool, and completely lost his appetite. Once he was taken off the medication, he returned to normal. Overall, this experience felt far more focused on upselling and expensive treatment plans than genuinely helping us make informed decisions for our dog. I would not recommend this clinic.

I bring my dog to the Quail Springs Banfield for semi-annual checkups and shots. I will also call with questions which are answered immediately. The staff is always friendly and helpful, keeping me informed and making recommendations for my canine companion's care. I have been going there for going on thirteen years.
