  Communication was not there. First time going and was told that if there was an issue during would be called. Appointment was 8am and groomer was not there. Was told would need to wait for her. Waited then was told groomers running late and was checked in by someone else. I Brought 2 dogs in. One large dog got all her treatments done but had a large patch missing from her tail. The other smaller dog was only given a bath. Was told by groomer that she couldn’t do any other service on her because she was not cooperative. I was charged for all of her services. The whole pickup process was not easy. Was told I would receive text when done. Had to go check at check in desk 2 times until I seen their paperwork on desk. Check in attendant at desk was rude. When asked how much I needed to pay laughed at me and said you don’t pay here. I Go to cashier stands to pay. Then go back to check in. Attendant says hold on and asks another groomer about dogs. Comes back and says you will need to wait on your groomer so they can get your dogs and they need to talk to you. Waited on groomer again come out and says small dog was able to receive bath. No other explanation. I will not be back. Was not treated fairly. And felt like something else happened that was not told. Also the groomer seemed off putting and was not pleasant.

  The grommers are very good however if you use website to book appointment and choose what you want it will automatically change you go to pickup example I booked for $62.00 + $5.99when I went to pay they had added additional $10.00 on each dog. so called brush out fee my dog and shaved down no need to brush. I disagreeed with but had to pay the extra amount It's not right or fair update your website so this doesn't happen. This is the second time they have done to me. When I called to talk with manager they are no available.

  Thomas grooms both of my pups and he is fantastic, patient, and gentle with high maintenance dogs. Best groomer we’ve ever had

  Had an issue with appointment time and groomers schedule change. Was able to still get my dogs groomed on the same day, but did have to make extra to and from trips. Charlie, our groomer, did a great job on our Yorkies. Will bring them back.

  My first time at PETCO Norman: I was watching a friend's daughter and we had been at Petsmart to go look at animals. Afterwards, we came to PETCO to look at their animals. My oldest daughter had brought in our newly adopted Bernedoodle for his first grooming at PETCO earlier that day, so when we got there, we had asked what time they thought they might start on our dog so we could get a glimpse of his grooming before I had to take her back home. We walked around the store looking at all of the animals and greeting owners that brought their dogs in for grooming. She had picked out a dog treat for our dog and we went over to the counter to let her see our dog for a few minutes before purchasing it and heading out. The lady grooming her was visibly upset about something and she was talking loudly to her fellow groomers. At some point, one of them came out and said that he would be done in an hour or so. I said, okay thank you. We are just watching for a min. She said okay, sometimes people rush them to get done. I said, oh no. We just wanted to watch a bit. Then a few min later, another groomer came out to talk to me, not knowing someone else had already come out to talk to me. She said the same thing and I replied with the same answer and then telling her that we would like to purchase this dog treat the little girl picked out for him. I look up and I was able to read the lips of the staff member grooming our dog and I realized that we had been the reason for her behavior. So, I was guided to another counter to purchase the dog treat.We left and drove to a park. My oldest daughter came in to PETCO when she was notified that he was done. I had not shared my experience with her. She paid for the grooming and left a $20 tip. However, we were all taken a back at the result of the grooming. We don't understand why his tail was left looking like a feather duster. Not sure we will be going back.
