  I do not recommend buying reptiles from this location. We purchased a baby bearded dragon on Sunday, and by Tuesday afternoon, he had tragically passed away. We only had him for 48 hours, despite being deeply prepared. Our enclosure was set up perfectly with ideal digital heat gradients (104.5°F basking zone, 79°F cool zone), safe non-loose substrate, proper hydration, with T5 uvb lighting. Despite providing a textbook-perfect environment and a quiet space to settle in, his body completely failed. Within two days, he suffered severe neurological seizures (stargazing/stiffening) and a total systemic collapse. Biologically, it is impossible for husbandry to kill a reptile this quickly. He was sent home to us extremely sick, likely heavily starved, or carrying an overwhelming genetic or viral disease. The worst part of this entire experience isn't the wasted money or time; it’s the senseless heartbreak my 7-year-old child has had to endure. We had to watch an innocent animal die a traumatic death in our home, and I had to explain to my heartbroken child why we lost our new pet because we were sold a fragile, incredibly sick bearded dragon. This has been an incredibly heartbreaking experience for our family. I have definitely learned my lesson and will only be buying from ethical breeders from here on out. Please protect your children and your wallets by taking your business elsewhere when it comes to purchasing a reptile for your family.

  This isn't my local store but I saw it from the road and needed some supplies for my travel companion. The staff was extremely helpful assisting me with finding everything I needed. Check out was also a breeze as they found me in the system by phone number and applied my additional savings. Always a great pleasure shopping at Petco!

  We (me & my rescue pitbull Paan) shopped at Petco purchased new harness/leash, spent 50+ dollars & no free doggie treats at the chekhout?! I buy my cat Boyds food there tii, Tiki Cat, its pricey, & I had to ask the cashier for free dog treats. Wow. Since you choose to give free dog treats to your customers since when should a customer be forced to ask for that???? Inconsiderate is the word i will use to describbe female cashier attitude.
