- VRVictoria RowellSep 25, 20261.0There are only a few staff members that know what they are doing. My dog has been on the same regimen of medications for the last 6 years. And a handful of times has the local pharmacy not been able to fill her CII prescription for the whole month. This past month was one of those months where the medication couldn’t be filled for the entire month, and I used to work in a pharmacy so I understand the importance of dates and not getting this medication filled early due to it being a CII. My dog has chronic airway disease with a collapsing trachea, which I spent over $3k to find out when Banfield sent us to a specialist that required a scope and biopsies. It is just unfortunate that the front desk lady/tech didn’t even offer to share the above with Dr. Morales, which I had explained to Nick (one of the few that knows what he is doing) yesterday that this was early because the pharmacy only had 3 weeks worth. Now my dog will go without medication. When she is off she sounds like she is unable to breath at times, and her cough continues to worse! Thank you Banfield for ruining this loyal customer’s experience with you. It shouldn’t be this hard. Hope you do better.

- NBNikki BlackAug 11, 20261.0Today 11th August I booked an appointment online for an in-room appointment for my ill cat. I called the clinic to discuss the appointment I booked. They informed me that they were only willing to do drop off appointment. As they have surgery today. My cat died shortly after this call. So she would have died alone and in a cage with them. They weren’t very unhelpful, unfriendly and unprofessional. I took my cat to VEG instead. The care was outstanding. My cat unfortunately passed. I called Edmond clinic when I got home to find out what I needed to do. Cancelling my wellness plan. The person I spoke to was cold and unhelpful again. I will look for better care for my other two cats

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
