Over this time they have given my prescriptions with correct directions on labels, didn’t tell me of positive Giardia results until it was casually brought up when my dog was still having stomach issues 6 months later. And when it was finally communicated with me that his new decal was positive they gave me prescription for my dog but the bottle didn’t have the amount that was supposed to be given. This was the last straw.
- SWShannon WhitcombAug 7, 20265.0I visited Banfield almost two weeks ago due to my cat being sick. Unfortunately, I had to put my sweet boy down due to a mass in his belly. Dr. Raji and our nurse Amanda could not have shown more kindness and compassion. They were just absolutely wonderful. I don't know how they are able to keep it together during times like this but I will never forget them and deeply appreciate their professionalism and care.

I took my dog to the appointment, got there and was turned away because their scheduling system doesn’t work correctly, overbooking or whatever. I even had an email that my appointment was confirmed. I have my dog on one of the wellness plans, and when my dog is sick I either have to wait a week to get him in, go to another Banfield an hour away, spend a lot of money at an urgent care or spend a lot of money at an emergency vet. What is the point of having the plan when I can’t even get my dog in to be seen for a sick appointment when the appointment slot online was clearly open for me to book it? Not happy with Banfield!

Receptionist tells me “our online schedule doesn’t really work.” Block pts from being able to book online, put up a little memo to call and confirm, literally anything other than just “well it just doesn’t work.” Took a day off work to take my dog to the vet, and welp too bad so sad they don’t have anything in the near future. If they treat there schedule and my time like it doesn’t matted, why would I trust you to treat my animal with care. This place blows

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
