We tried several trainers but none understood and respected our dog like Brian. He has succeeded training our dog and us in a way that was simple, painless and effective. Our Bernedoodle is now a pleasure to be around. We highly recommend Brian and VACAY9.

Vacay 9 has had such a positive impact on my two 14 month old puppies May and Angel. Brian approaches training with a great deal of love and commitment to each dog’s wellbeing. He was very patient in trying to understand my concerns as an owner and developing a plan to help us succeed. I highly recommend Vacay 9 for anyone looking for a better relationship with their fur babies.

Vacay 9 came highly recommended to me by Dog Day Every Day! Brian is a miracle worker with dogs! I have taken not 1 but 2 to him for his 3 weeks Board and Train program! When I took Lola to Brian back in 2021, I was completely skeptical about being able to teach an “old” (5) dog new tricks! The patience Brian has with each and every dog is truly remarkable! He asks in depth questions to identify what issues you are having and develops a training plan and moves at the dogs pace. The communication while having your dog in his care is top notch as well! He works with each human to teach them what to expect from their dog and how to continue the process at home! I was so impressed with the work and results with Lola that I took my 2nd dog, Sozo to him as well this year for the Board and Train program! Sozo, a young but giant Golden Retriever had started hurting me when he jumped on me. I couldn’t break him of it despite trying! Brian was able to teach Sozo not to jump on people! Now, when asked Sozo gently jumps up for a hug! Remember I said he moves at the dog’s pace? During the 2nd week of the 3 week Board and Train, Brian reached out to let me know that Sozo was doing very well, moving faster than other dogs and I should consider e-collar training. I took Brian’s lead and Sozo is still learning the e-collar but he’s making such progress! Lola passed away in March and Sozo was struggling to be an only dog. So, we now have Miro, who is 5 months old and is a biological brother to Sozo! They are 14 months apart. Today, a Sunday, I went to buy a prong collar for Miro and had questions. I sent a text to Brian, not expecting an answer until business hours, but I got my questions answered! Miro, will be doing the 3 week Board and Train program in the new year! I may have been skeptical in 2021, but Brian and staff have done a fantastic job with both Lola and Sozo! I highly recommend Vacay 9 for all your training needs!

Brian Wieland is such an amazing dog trainer. We knew we wanted to pursue training with our puppy because she would grow to be big and strong and I am not! I wanted to be able to take her on walks and be in control. Before Brian she refused to walk in neighborhood and was terrified of going out front door and side yard to even go on a walk! I wanted Bailey to behave at home and not be a terror with us or the cat. My husband travels weekly and I knew she would be mostly my responsibility. We started our first round at 4 1/2 months and just finished second round -Bailey is 8 months. She learned many commands after 9 days with Brian which he taught me how to reinforce at home with weekly sessions. Now she’s working on e collar training. We went for a walk for the first time without a prong collar and she didn’t pull on me or try to jump on a human walking by. I’m so impressed with her superior trainer! So thankful we have such a sweet puppy and were referred to Brian by a friend. I highly recommend Brian!

Our pit mix, Clayton, was there a few yrs ago for board & train. He had gone to 2 other training facilities and just did not have a good experience. Here at Vacay9 Clay did amazing! He LOVES going back for his refresher classes! He LOVES Brian, and even has made friends with the new trainers,-Uncle Tracy is his new BFF!! And if you know Clayton this is a major accomplishment! We...I...😏 am learning something new every time we go back. I will forever be thankful to Brian, and all his helpers/workers at Vacay9! Clayton is a very 'special' baby...and I am so happy he is finally able to do some things without a muzzle and NOT try to 'eat' everyone! Maybe just every other person! LoL...naw....just kidding!....🤔🤨😏
