  One of the employees would not give us two gold fish for our huge tank they said a 100 gallon tank would not fit two this is ridiculous they should be ashamed and was extremely rude and dismissive

  Went in to buy a 49 cent goldfish... the store won't sell them to you if you dont have an appropriate size tank (according to their own rules) but they have 600 goldfish stuck in one tiny tank in the store. ITS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS WHY IM BUYING A FISH OR WHERE ITS GOING! 2 of the 3 employees I spoke with were very very rude. The girl at the desk commented "weren't you just TOLD NO!" (concering the goldfish purchase.) Very frustrating. WONT BE BACK. AND.....2 days later, the fish is already dead.

  Today I dropped off my 2 yorkies for their grooming appointment. They were perfectly fine when they took them back. They habe been to this location several times without any problems. A half hour later I get a call that they ste stressed out and I would need to pick them up immediately and reschedule. I got there and could hear them both barking in the grooming area they had moved them to. The young lady came out to reschedule the appointment, which I declined. Like...what did you do to my dogs in the half hour they were there?! We have never had a problem at any groomer. Needless to say I will not be grooming there or shopping there.

  If I could leave 0 stars I would. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR PET! I took my dog to get groomed, made an appointment and everything days in advance. In the description I noted that my dog had slight matting in her mouth due to her normal groomer canceling her appointment. Mind you, called ahead to ensure this wouldnt be an issue. I have a 6 year old doodle mix that is about 100 pounds. We put on the booking she was a large dog, the groomer insisted she was larger than a large dog and that it would cost most, which I said was fine, thats no problem. Anyways, we get to the grooming facility and the groomer LYNNA was over 20 minutes late and had a HORRIBLE attitude because she locked her keys in her house. She then proceeded to say with a horrible attitude that my dog was much larger than a large dog and it would cost more money. I said thats no issue at all and it was my mistake, after looking at the booking regulations, my dog was within the linit of a large dog. I then told her to please be careful when doing her back legs as she has some hip issues recently and Lynna began yelling and asking if my dog would be laying down the whole time and that she doesnt beed to be gentle the dog can handle it. My dog is on medication for these issues. As someone who deals with animals and people everyday, Lynna has absolutely no business dealing with animals as she has no compassion or care. It’s extremely unacceptable. She then decided that she didnt want to geoom my dog because my dog was against the company’s breed regulations?? I have a doodle who has previously been groomed at a petco with no issues. Upon walking away from the grooming area, Lynna told others she just didnt feel up to grooming my dog because she was having a bad day… Petco needs to do better. These people have zero business caring for peoples animals!! Do not take you loved pets here! We will be returning to our normal groomer and never looking back. I also will be in touch with corporate as this person should not be allowed to lay a FINGER on an animal.

  On sat early evening, my daughter-in-law took her 1 7yr old dog into the Wadsworth location. The dog happened to be a beautiful and non-aggresisive pit-bull. She began barking excitedly at another puppy. Tail wagging,no teeth showing. My daughter-in-law was approached by several employees at once., claiming it was because of her breed. They were " being cautious" my daughter - in- law moved her dog to another area to look for a toy. An employee proceeded to follow them.. my daughter-law felt very embarrassed. This situation could have been handled much better without the specific breed beng pointed out. Very unfair. If Petco is too uncomfortable with havng pit-bulls in their store, they should make it known or put up a sign. Then again they'd lose business, wouldn't they? A shame. Her dog is so sweet! Signed, a disappointing experience and suggest calling ahead depending on what breed of dog you have (No barking allowed).
