***Beware of their fearmongering*** The star is for the front desk, who were very pleasant. I brought my cat in for a tooth extraction in April due to my vet not having availability quickly enough. Her runny nose did not clear, and I thought at the time it was related to that. They immediately told me she had tumors in her nasal passage (based on no examination of any kind) and there was nothing they could do for her, given her age of 17. They did do a blood test, however, and then changed their diagnosis from cancer to FIP based on one blood test number (this is not the way it is diagnosed for certain). They gave her antibiotics, a steroid shot, and meds for FIP. They went on and on about their specialized training in treating FIP. I mentioned that we had another cat that had an upper respiratory infection a month back, and they dismissed it and said that was not what she had. I did so much research and realized the one blood test number they hung their diagnosis on was the result of her having an upper respiratory infection. I never gave her the meds. I went back for the follow-up where they did the blood test again. It was barely elevated at that point and my cat was acting completely fine. I did let them know that I had not given her the meds. They still insisted she has FIP and must be treated immediately, or she would be dead within months if not weeks. She is currently sitting in my lap, untreated for something she never had, and doing fabulously. You would never guess she is 17. I also hated that he never learned her name, or even gender (which is very obvious), and kept referring to her as it! Also, the amount of money I spent is ridiculous. Dr. Hehehan mentioned several times how he never sold out and his prices were so much better. Well, my vet did sell out, and they are still amazing and keep their prices affordable.

I had 4 orphaned 5 week old kittens. Dr. Henehan was able to take 2 of the kittens and adopt them out. I had homes for the other 2 kittens, so I thought. He checked out all the kittens gave them shots, and treated them for worms. I was more than pleased with the low cost. When I reached out to the other 2 individuals wanting the other kittens, they changed their minds and backed out. Dr. Henehan's office reached out to me regarding the other 2 kittens that I had. He was able to take both of them and adopt them out as well. Wards corner animal hospital truly cares about animals. I won't take my animals any other veterinarian.

I cannot rave enough! I was so happy to have found Wards Corner Animal Hospital today! My Maltipoo Dashy, who we just adopted, had bitten a former groomer and I had to get him tested for Rabies. Dr. Mark made the experience feel very comfortable! He was able to re-up his immunization for 3 years, recommend a groomer with special need clients and also was able to fill a seditive to make Dashy feel more comfortable for his next trim! We will definitely be going here from now on!

Been with Dr Henehan for 30 years, that should be enough! Awesome Vet!
