  Drove an hour to get to this store because they have the best aquarium section - specifically, they handle the Fluval aquariums. Had a nice chat with the sales staff, and found them very well-informed about fishkeeping, which is pretty rare in a big box store.

  Do not take your dog here for grooming. They are always in a rush and they do not listen to the pets needs. Then when something happens; they refuse to take responsibility. I am still trying to get someone to call me back about an issue, they just don’t care. I have since switched groomers, to one about 1min away from this one, and am very happy, not to mention they are $25 cheaper per visit. Now that I can compare the 2, the differences are astounding. Update: I saw the response from Petco below. i have called the customer service line, that is where my complaint began. But when I pushed back they refused to call me again for resolution. I have called 4 times in the past month with no callback. I called again today, she stated it’d be escalated and I’d get a callback before days end, which prompted me to finally type this review.

  So, after sitting for 20 minutes for someone to walk over and get a turtle out of the tank for us. When a young lady walked over she was extremely rude. Body language and tone just disgusting. I left my cart and just walked out. I will not spend my money in a place where customers are treated in a horrible way. I would rather drive further to my usual reptile store. On a whim decided to go here because we were at Marshall’s. I won’t even think to walk in a place like this again.

  Made an appointment to have my dogs regular immunizations months ahead of time and received regular reminders for weeks. Day of the appointment we received a text cancellation. No effort to reschedule. No phone call. Nothing. Very unprofessional and lacking in customer service. Petco and especially this location will no longer be an option for anything we do for our pets going forward. Luckily there are plenty of other options and i encourage anyone else looking for similar services to explore options such as Tractor Supply that seem to be MUCH more reliable and customer friendly and we found a nearby clinic running today last minute. Reliability and customer service are important to us as we travel and set appointments far in advance.

  I won't be returning, their prices are outrageous. I went in looking for a flea collar for my cat. They are like $8 on Amazon, however I wanted it now, so I expected to pay a little more. I found what I was looking for. For a whopping $50. Needless to say, they got to keep it. I went to Pet Supplies Plus and purchased one for $12. I did a little more price comparison on other items. My cat's food is about 30% higher than other stores, as are the cat treats. I understand that not every store can be the same price, and I never expect a brick and mortar store to be the same as an online retailer... However the flea collar being 5X's the price is absolutely WILD. Yes, the one I ultimately bought is a different brand, but this isn't a generic vs name brand thing... They were both name brands, and same items/ types of flea collars... Just one was being sold by a greedy corporation and the other by a (reasonably) honest business. If you like to overpay for stuff, then this is the place for you! However, if like to be smart with your purchases, stay away! Shopper beware!
