Wouldn't see my dog who got bit by another dog, had to go somewhere else, they said they weren't taking appts., well I wasn't there for an appointment obviously. My dog needed looked at, it was an emergency. I don't think they were capable of being over whelmed. The waiting room was full. Think they needed more staff to act accordingly.

Arrived on time, turned me away because they got behind. Made another appointment about a week later, was texted the day before to arrive at 5 instead of 5:30, barely giving me time to get there. I chose that time so I could have time to leave work and grab my cat. Nervous wreck that I'll be turned away again because I really need my girl to be seen. I understand there's way less Banfield's nearby compared to Columbus, where I just moved from. But come on man.

I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and am checking to see who the governing body for veterinarians is to file a complaint with them. I pay monthly for pet health insurance and on Wed 7/29/26 my dog was examined by their veterinarian who told me my dog had a tooth abscess because he needs teeth pulled but she refused to prescribe an antibiotic to treat him in the short term until he can be scheduled for dental work and gave me a rough estimate for $2,000 and warned me it could be more (or less) and said he wouldn't get an antibiotic until he was going home after his dental appointment, so in the meantime he has to suffer. This seems completely unethical to me.

I called here because one of the girls I worked with at Petsmart says she takes her dogs here. I call and make the app for my cat, and the receptionist on the phone was nice (: However, the day of my appointment it felt like I was waiting forever (I understand they have other patients but, there was literally nobody in the waiting room like the entire time I was there)lol The vibe was all off, none of the staff that walked by were returning my smiles (awkward) 🤔 I literally just came here to get my cat checked out because he was due to get neutered somewhere else a week later, but they don’t do in depth exams, and said he would be turned away if they found anything. Tell me why I paid only $80 at this low cost vet clinic for neuter, rabies, and first feline shot; Just to turn around and be raked over the coals by Banfield for almost $500?! 😱 They talked me into all these tests and crap, because they were preying on the fact that I’d never had him checked out before, and wanted the best for my baby /: Plus I was told over the phone that rabies, and first feline shots were required. I said no problem, I already paid at the other place; but I understand, and have no problem getting a reimbursement from them; If it is required by you guys! They didn’t even do the rabies and feline shots lol 🙃 Then, they told me they would have some of the results that day, but that the rest wouldn’t be ready to till the next day. I said that’s fine, I just need to know by tomorrow, so that if he does have something that needs to be treated, we can treat it before his neuter appointment. I called the next day, they had no answer for me. I didn’t get a call back until Mon, after the weekend. So 4 days later lol (Mind you, they are all open all weekend) Luckily all his tests were all negative! So I’m very happy that he is healthy, but I definitely feel like I was taken advantage of. I didn’t get the monthly plan that they offer, because I was sick and dealing with my own health problems. But what they don’t tell you is that, if you don’t get the monthly plan, they’re going to rake you over the coals $500 for something they would’ve done for $40 apparently. So a $500 lesson I had to learn ): Hope they’re happy they ripped me off, because they won’t be getting another cent out of me…

Dr Ede, our vet tech (im sorry i cant remember your name i was running on no sleep), and the ladies at the desk were all fantastic. The place was clean and organized. My pup Dolph was very comfortable with the team today and enjoyed playing with them despite his tummy troubles! Everyone was friendly and Dr Ede explained everything, gave us a plan for our fur baby, and really eased our anxiety and stress. Dr Ede is extremely knowledgeable and personable and definitely gained our trust today. We will drive out of the way to go to this location to see her from now on. Thank you!
