Cincinnati Animal CARE Colerain Campus - Hamilton County Animal Shelter

Cincinnati Animal CARE manages Hamilton County’s animal services and our two shelter facilities located in Northside. Our Colerain is open for dogs adoptions every day of the week, while our Dane avenue location is open for dog AND cat adoptions, as the home of our cat program, Kitty City. As the only county shelter, we meet the immediate needs of animals that come to us through highly individualized care, life-saving solutions, and temporary housing—either in the shelter itself, or in foster homes throughout the community—as we work to find safe and compatible homes for all. We are not affiliated with the SPCA, located in Sharonville.
