  Purchased 20 minnows and 20 gold fish by the time I got home some of the gold fish were dead in the bag all were dead in the aquarium the next day meanwhile all the minnows are still alive a month later I called store was told to come in and they will be replaced when I got there I was told that they were feeder fish and not guaranteed although there was a sign on the aquarium saying there is a 30 day guarantee staff told me that she will have management replace sign to say feeder are not guaranteed, why was I not told tht when I called? I would not have wasted my time going there if told tht or sigh wasn't there. I was shop at PetSmart from now on since I have never had an unpleasant shopping experience there

  I stopped in recently and saw they did a full remodel here. It's very shiny and new, and fully instock on everything. Was able to get exactly what I needed. Helpful staff, very friendly.

  I needed a new stand for my large aquarium right away. Petco had exactly what I wanted. After my online order, I received an email early the next morning saying my stand was ready for pickup. At the store, the staff checked my email, identified the ticket, and brought my stand to me. Excellent service!

  It was a normal experience. The animals cages were very clean. That's probably the main concern I would have about a petco store. It didn't smell either. One thing I was kinda blew back about wasthere prices. I mean jeez a hamster cage was like $100 & it was nothing extraordinary about it. Dog & cat beds same thing . Ridiculous prices. I spent $50 for a cpl small pieces of plastic & some dried fruit treats. Alot of the small animal toys & cage decor u can make yourself for a damn dollar & a half at dollar tree or more then likely u have these items at home. Save some $ & spend time wit your kids & your pet by DIY(DOING IT YOURSELF!!)
