- BJBethany JohannigmanApr 20, 20262.0I asked if the price was correct on the $499.99 ferret, thinking maybe it was supposed to be $49.99 … The employee I spoke to said “if that’s what it says then yes!” And I said something about being shocked at that price and she said “well it is a living animal. How much would you pay for a dog or a cat?“ I responded saying not that much as I run a non profit l dog and cat rescue. So did not think my comment was light hearted as intended and got very defensive about the ferrets and their pedigree. Overall just an unpleasant experience. Not a fan of this Petco staff.
