Sydney and Osanna where do we start? These two ladies represent what compassion, professionalism and caring means! Not one time, not two times, every time we come into the Banfield Yonkers location these two ladies put us at ease! I know employees go through trainings but you can’t teach what they have it’s naturally inside of them! They are the reason we come to
That location! Even now as our fur baby isn’t out of the woods yet we felt the need to give these two ladies their flowers 💐 now! These two ladies deserve a raise and a promotion! Sydney and Osanna thank you for all that you do! You are appreciated!!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! For the first time, in a very long time, I felt comfortable with a Vet. I didn't feel like they just wanted my money. They showed compassion, and genuine care for my dog. AND, the wellness packages are AMAZING!!!! I wasn't given a CRAZY bill that had to be paid at the end of the visit. With the Packages you can pay every month, and for a normal income household this is so ideal. No more "I can wait and take him to the vet next month after I have saved up for the visit". What a breath of fresh air!!!! Thank you Banfield!!! I HIGHLY recommend!!!

I have been a loyal Banfield client since 2017 with 4 dogs on wellness plans. After this week, that's over.
One of my dogs came home from a routine dental cleaning MISSING TWO TEETH. No one called me. No one told me. His records say "Extracted: none" and "Missing: none" — the same as every single dental chart in his 6-year history. He cried in pain all night and was sent home with zero pain medication.
When I returned for answers, the vet couldn't tell me which teeth were missing and disappeared to the back. They came back with a document claiming it would explain why there were missing teeth, but the document itself was contradicting, leading me to doubt the validity of their claims. It diagnosed Stage 1 periodontal disease on one page while scoring it Stage 2 on the very next.
I then discovered another one of my dogs is also missing a tooth I was never informed about, with the exact same pattern in his records.
Now when I call to cancel my wellness plans, staff hang up the moment I say I want to cancel.
Nearly 9 years of loyalty and this is how my dogs were treated. Avoid this location.

First time at this place, Yonkers location. We had a scheduled appointment for my dog wellness visit, still waited for almost 45 minutes, to be taken in to a room with a tech. very crowed. Front desk staff not too friendly, never asked me if I need help to check in.
Never met the doctor, only the assistant who took me in the room, they had me stay in the room while they took my dog to the back for his check up and vaccines, less than 5 minutes. 🤷♀️ like I said the doctor never came to the room to speak to me, or check my dog.

I wish I could give them 0 stars at this point. My experience started off great. I brought my puppy here about 2 times and it was positive and efficient. After my initial visits however, service drastically declined. Particularly as it pertains to wait times. You absolutely cannot have any other plans or obligations dealing with this place, because the staff is strolling in and out, getting lunch, the front desk girls are in the back etc, as they double and triple book people. They aren’t cheap either! I am a healthcare leader and would never be ok with my team providing lackluster service to patients like this! Today was the last straw for me, I booked our appointment earlier than normal, since on more than one occasion I’ve had to make alternative plans for someone to retrieve my child from school due to long delays. Yet, despite a much earlier time, I still ended up waiting close to an hour! I started talking to others waiting and found out they were all booked at the same time as me. The front desk girl then strolled out, and we asked how long before one of us got in. She nonchalantly said, we’re running behind, I can’t give you time. By this time, we’re running so late, my husband and I opted to leave. We told the girl we are leaving and she barely looked at us before replying “ok”. No customer service, no offer to reschedule! Again, I am a healthcare leader at a major hospital system, so I’m flabbergasted by this behavior. I’m also taking time out of my day to get care for my puppy and being treated like an after thought when I’m paying for a service! As soon as we left and got in our car, one of the people we were speaking with in the waiting room, came out and said they were calling us. I told her nope, too late, after which my phone began ringing. Again! Too late. We were beyond service recovery at this point. I’m so happy I never paid for their subscription and will not be doing business with this franchise again.
