- SSSCSep 30, 20265.0Dr Dunbar is amazing. Their techs are too. I say as someone who owns a finicky Shiba Inu who just went under anesthesia for his first dental cleaning. I also am extremely picky w handlers in general and they truly care. I own and run a pet business in Eastchester, NY - Friendly Paws and we give Banfield white plains 5 paws 🐾!!
- JMJhoss mSep 19, 20263.0I’ve taken my dogs to this vet, and unfortunately, my experiences have been mixed. My first dog ended up having stomach cancer that went undetected, which was extremely difficult. With my new puppy, I’ve also had concerns about an ongoing scratching issue. I was told that it could be a habit he has picked up and that as long as his fur wasn’t coming off and I didn’t notice a rash, I should let him continue scratching. I wasn’t completely comfortable with that advice and would have preferred a more thorough investigation into the cause. I also left a voicemail a few months ago requesting a follow-up appointment after my dog was seen at an emergency vet, and I still have not received a response or call back. I do want to mention that the technicians are always very kind, friendly, and pleasant to work with. Their vaccination prices are also more affordable than other vets I’ve looked into, which is a definite positive. However, my experiences with follow-up and addressing underlying health concerns have left me with some reservations.

Anyway , I do love taken my child( fur dog) to any convenient location because they do have so much. The doctors are cool. They also keep it clean. My baby enjoys coming here. Love Banfield.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
