Perfect for emergency services when local vets were closed. So glad they were open and available! Friendly attentive staff, acknowledged us as soon as we got in.. Excellent exotic staff; listened to us and took great care in assessing and assisting our pet turtle. Provided pain management and kept us informed. Took the time to explain the situation and condition of our pet, provided clear directions, made us feel comfortable with our choices. Clean and neat facilities. Competent staff.

My dog was referred to Dr. Carmichael for dental surgery. She was having nosebleeds and had a fistula from her mouth to her nose which the doctor was able to close. Dr. Carmichael was compassionate, patient, and thorough. Thankfully our dog is fully recovered, I would absolutely recommend him for dental services. It is expensive but a specialist was needed for operating on our senior small dog with a heart murmur.

After several months at another vet, we decide to go to Vmc. Dr. Fondacaro was extremely caring and his expertise is amazing. He redid a sonogram that we had done another Vet and saw that she had stomach cancer. The other Vet and the other sonogram did not pick it up, which was only two weeks prior even though the ending really sucked. I like to thank Dr Fondacaro for his talent and his compassion.

I brought my cat here on April 15h at 8pm. Was told it would be 1 hour wait. Told the same thing at 9pm. Waiting patiently I had to stretch my legs at 11pm. I was notified that it would be another 2 hours before my cat would be seen. 2 hours??? Customers that came before and after me were taken in and discharged. This is totally unacceptable. 6 hours+ . What's going on here??? 8 employees behind the counter on computers, others busy back and forth but only one doctor on call??? The one star is for the staff who were professional and courteous. Otherwise very, very disappointed 😞

I brought my dog Prince to see Dr. Jill MacLeese in Ophthalmology after he experienced sudden vision loss, and I am incredibly grateful for the care we received. Both Dr. MacLeese and Morgan were exceptionally kind, patient, and gentle with Prince, which made a stressful situation much easier to navigate. I’ll admit, I was initially very hesitant about bringing Prince to VMCLI after reading some negative reviews. However, from the moment we met Dr. MacLeese, all of those concerns were put to rest. She was compassionate, thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which gave me a great sense of reassurance. While I can’t speak to the experience with other doctors at the clinic, I can confidently say that Dr. MacLeese provided outstanding care. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a veterinary ophthalmologist.
