I don’t know what else to say but thank you from the bottom of my heart. Dr. Barone and her team saved my dogs life after he ruptured a disc in spine causing agonizing pain because it was pressing on his spine. At 14.5 years old, after major spinal surgery, he walked out of the hospital 2 days after surgery. Unbelievably results for Rafiki at his age. You have given him a second chance at life and myself and my family more QUALITY time with him and for that we are forever in your debt. The team kept in touch with us step by step. Of they said they would call at 10:30am they called at 10:30am. Just an incredible team, incredible facility. We are blessed to have a place like this on Long Island for just these type of emergencies. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!

I had to take my cat here yesterday for an emergency. I’m not going to lie, it was expensive, but the care we received was extraordinary. The staff is truly amazing, from the folks at the desks, to the techs and doctors - what an incredible, caring team. I just received a next-day phone call to just check in and see how my cat is doing, it truly blew me away. I’m glad to know there is such a wonderful emergency option in the area, and a huge thank you to the VMCLI team for taking such great care of my little Lulu.

Beware!!!! Completely misdiagnosed my dog. She had me calling everywhere to get him euthanized saying i had 1-3 hours with him it will be a horrific death if i don’t put him down she wanted to hear me talk to the person. She said he would keep him on oxygen for the time til he got home euthanized i guess that was kind of her….. i have had a dog in CHF. totally different what my pup was experiencing.Do your homework… before trusting these people.. So i took my dog home against their “recommendation “ He survived. smh 🤦🏽‍♀️ a full day,!!!!! So I Brought him to a real animal hospital today they said it was NOT CHF. It was a back injury…. the pain had him breathing heavy…. The thought that someone can be coaxed into believing their dog is so ill to put them down is a disgrace… Or a way for them to make $ on people’s emotions.. * if the scare tactic works Shame on You Doc..!!! You almost got me!!! As you said you’re a professional, When i was in disagreement… Maybe a professional Scammer!!!

Dr. O’Donnell, Michelle, and the staff were beyond compassionate and caring. I had to put down my puggle Chopper and while there’s no happiness in such an event, I couldn’t have asked for a better team of people to help us through the process. They made us feel comfortable and supported. I am grateful for them and hope they get to read this… thank you, with all our heart 🤎 Elena & Jesse James 😉

They took great care of our dog. When our dog got there he was extremely dehydrated. They swiftly took him and put him on IV. Even though they couldn't do the procedure, they contacted other vets on our behalf and made sure that someone was able to help us the same day with an emergency surgery. They even helped me bring my dog to the car (I'm wearing a brace). Everything they have done is greatly appreciated!
