  I left my dog there to get neutered at 8 am it is 2:30 and I can’t even get in touch with anyone and no one is not answering the phone don’t bring your dog here !

  I have been calling this place since Monday 9/21/2026, trying to get my cats remains. I finally reached a live person today. The girl that answered the phone was RUDE HORRIBLE AND DISGUSTING. I told her I was calling about my cats remains, who passed who passed away on 8/30/3026. I was told 2 weeks before I can pick them up. It has been a month and we have not gotten them back yet. She finally goes and look and her reply was ‘it’s here on the shelf”. I asked her who is she calling it. She got quiet I asked her name she hung up the phone. When we called back she tried to act like the phone disconnected. We will be looking for another handled hospital to take helm our pets to. The front desk staff is disgusting. We spoke to the manager about the girl at the front. She didn’t learn anything or the manager didn’t tell her anything. We went back on 9/19/2026 with our other cats. She was there at the first desk again, still rude and don’t know how to treat customers coming in with pets. The manager needs to do better with the staff.

  The quality of service my dog has received since joining the Wellness Plan in 2015 has downgraded severely, especially the Valley Stream, NY office.

  Absolutely atrocious service here! Don’t bother bringing your dog to Banfield at all. I can promise you, they don’t give a crap about your dog, they only want your money! They take in dozens of dogs, and expect you to leave your dog in a kennel all day until they see them for 5 seconds and move on to the next dog! Never been to a vet like this; with most normal vets, you go in with your dog so you can explain or show where your concerns are…not here! It’s essentially, take a number, drop your dog, and we’ll see him when we want to! Today, my dog had appointment for a lump on his back which is very concerning, I took him there, waited 30 minutes for them to even take him from me, and they then called me saying he barked at them so they didn’t want to take him out of the kennel. So they want me to pay for the visit, pay for sedatives to drug my dog, for them to see him next time!?! Are you guys insane?! I know German shepherds are an intimidating breed, but he’s never had this problem and he gets baths at pet smart regularly! And to top it all off, I SPECIFICALLY asked if they wanted me to muzzle him and they said NOOOO! I refused to pay for anything because there were no services rendered, and left in a tizzy! I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN! If you love your pet, avoid this place!
