They both dislike the vet, so I appreciate the entire team's hard work whenever they're there. The staff there is always extremely helpful, informative and attentive, no matter the time of day. They've always answered my questions and explained their services very clearly for me to understand. The phone calls during the visit and for pick-up are also helpful and quick. I feel the price for the wellness plans are a bit steep for a monthly reoccurrance, and I think it'd be nice if there was a bundle of some kind for multiple pets instead of two separate charges during the month. But at least I know that care is doing something useful for them (the cats).

- AVAurora VerdejoSep 10, 20265.0The staff here is incredible. Any beef I have with Banfield is with corporate. But here specifically, they provide immaculate care and competence. We unfortunately had to put our cat down last week due to sudden onset encephalitis exacerbated by his FIV. But during the year we’d been bringing him here, they showed him care and kindness, actively recalling him and doing their best for him when he had other issues. They were also very friendly and attentive with us. General warning of Banfield corporate: if you do their wellness plan and your pet passes, you’re still locked into a contract for the full year.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
