  Went to make a hair cutting appointment for my 13 year old morkie. I do shop there for dog pads and I cook for my dogs as long as I can remember

  I would never recommend Petco. I had 3 different bad experiences with this singular Petco which made me lose faith in all shops that sell animals who disregard their well being. I adopted a hamster a few years ago and he had teeth issues because they couldn’t of been bothered to give their rodents anything to chew on which is beyond cruel when they should have known that rodents of any kind, their teeth don’t stop growing and they need something to chew on that’s not toxic to their health. I adopted a white gerbil who was aggressive and mean because he was split from his bonded pair. Gerbils are not solitary rodents. They are bonded pairs and that left this poor gerbil mean and aggressive and I had to return him because I tried everything to bond with him on my own but all my tries failed and returning him was my last option, especially since I was afraid he would injure any other male gerbil I could of tried bonding him with. I gave Petco one last try and this one left me extremely angry and frustrated and I stopped adopting from Petco entirely. I adopted a small white hamster, pretty sure he was labeled as “mean and aggressive” and was put on sale. I adopted him immediately because putting any animal on sale is cruel and disgusting. There was a very clear reason to why he was “mean and aggressive” which I figured out within a month. This white hamster was almost blind and deaf. Obviously he is a biter because he is scared and cannot see clearly and he was completely deaf which was kinda obvious because any animal who is albino has the highest chance of being blind or deaf or even both. I had to take him to a exotic vet twice because how bad his cataracts had gotten. I truly hate Petco so much. You guys are atrocious and need to be put out of business along with Petsmart.
