    I took my dog for a grooming appointment and stayed there 4 hrs waiting for my dog, i also purchased a tick pill that same day. After the 4 hrs i asked if i could use the restroom and the groomer took me there, but the customer’s one was out of service, the groomer told me i could wait for the employee’s one, that was busy at the time and left. When the person came out of the restroom i explained to her that the groomer told me i could use it. A female afro American employee with a gray scrub that works in the vaccination clinic (who just sold me a tick pill) told me i couldn’t use that restroom and then another employee over heard, a male caucasian cashier (who charge me for the pill) said i can’t use that restroom and that i can go use Marshall’s restroom instead. I didn’t purchase anything at Marshall’s to go use their restroom. I purchased and used their services that day and I’ve been their client for 6 years. All my dog’s supplies, vaccines, vet visits and grooming appointments are from there, and i can’t use their restroom? Never going back.

    One star for the assistant manager who fails to understand that retail is a customer driven business. I was here earlier today to purchase cat litter, it was $4.00 cheaper online at petco.com. I asked the cashier who didn’t know how to process it so she called over her manager. The assistant manager immediately turned down the request stating that they don’t do that because I have the premier perk which is a paid membership and a discount I am entitled to. I pull up my online cart and show her if I ordered it I would get the online price PLUS my premier perk and she tells me to go order it online instead. I began telling her that I’ve been a petco customer for almost 20 years and I’ve never had an issue price matching to their own website and I began listing all the stores I visit that have honored including this exact store. She begins to tell me she’s managed 3 stores and she doesn’t do this because it would be stacking promotions. I ask which stores and she tells me hartsdale and then says I don’t need to explain myself to you. Yes, you do. I am trying to verify your credentials because you are the first person to tell me they can’t price match your own site. She then proceeds to tell me that they were all doing it against policy. So you’re telling me multiple locations were price matching their own website against policy and you’re the only one that’s right? I again tell her I’ve price matched at all these stores and it’s never been an issue, her response is “so go back to those stores”. Ma’am, you’re one of those stores, so not only are you failing at finding a solution which is a core job responsibility of a manager, but according to what you’re saying you also fail at training your employees properly on policy. I’ve worked retail for 20 years and I would never respond to a customer in the way that she did. All this for a $4.00 price match and a discount I am entitled to as a paid petco subscriber. I ended up ordering the litter online, I will never step foot in this location again due to this experience.

    In store pickup requires manager and manager is no where to be found. Waited for over 30 minutes and can’t pickup item I already paid for….

    Took my kids to get some goldfish and we were upset about the amount of time waiting for the lady to help us. She kept assisting everyone but we waited for 15 minutes for goldfish. Everytime we saw her she kept saying she was busy. Was gonna give up but my kids wanted the goldfish. The betta fish there were 90% all sick but healthy fish in the tanks. But most likely won’t go back there sadly.
