  Some of the most incompetent staff I’ve encountered in my life. Managers seem to be hiding and the one that was around, stood behind the cash registers, with his phone on speakerphone while HE is on hold waiting for someone to pick up, all while doing absolutely nothing to help the guy who was trying to fix a problem they caused for me by giving me the WRONG DOSAGE of a dog supplement. I will get his name by the time someone from corporate responds to my email. Also, the groomers are so “chop shop” and give zero care about the dogs they groom. Vetco is the only saving grace of this location, because they do have the most reasonable prices for vaccinations and I think that’s all they do, but they are very organized and do so while being kind and comforting to the dogs and cats. Even with that “compliment” about Vetco, you still have to pay for your Vetco visit at the regular store line, so that negates the positive. As I write this, I also remembered that when you do an online order for pickup, you have to stand on line, then tell the cashier that you are picking up an order, then you stand there and wait and wait and WAIT, I waited 22 minutes for the manager to show up to release my package, which if you recall, had the wrong dosage in the bag. Just an epic fail from start to finish.

  Came to this location just to visit and found the welfare of some animals in this store extremely disturbing. Just shut the whole location down if you can't bother to take care of your animals or have enough employees who CARE about animals to do so. I asked an associate for help with an animal that looked in distress and while he did help his attitude wasn't that concerned with the situation. There were a few other reptiles that were acting pretty strange as well. While it is extreme to say I hope this store gets shut down for good because this is just depressing knowing what some animals are going through in petco and to have associates who are supposed to care for them not care is incredibly worrying. I wasn't going to post this but seeing as this isn't the first instance at this petco is so sad. Shame on the owner for allowing this to happen. I'm pretty sure most of the animals on display in this store are being neglected.

  Hmm my kids asked for help to three staff members about how they could help this little fella. All staff members here are divorced from responsibility. Comments to help this living creature were first from the vet dept in here “Oh tell the people on blue shirts” cashiers “Let me see what I can do”. It’s a whole ordeal finding a simple solution. Sad for little turtle there. I would help you buddy but your Cristal cage is locked. Are they understaffed it’s only 2:00pm

  We are first-time dog owners and quickly became a bit overwhelmed with training our new puppy, so we decided to give Petco’s Dog Training program a try. We were paired with Jasmine and completed six sessions with her and are thrilled with the experience. Jasmine was incredibly supportive and tailored the training curriculum around our goals and preferences. At the same time, we gave her some creative freedom to suggest other easy “wins” based on what she observed with our puppy, which ended up being extremely helpful. During our first session, Jasmine greeted us at the door and created a welcoming experience. Jasmine has a natural ability to connect with dogs. She shared that she grew up with her dogs and were part of the family like siblings, which made a lot of sense. She had great command of each session and somehow made getting our puppy to follow instructions look effortless. We jokingly started calling her the “dog whisperer.” Jasmine’s honesty and approach to training us just as much as she was training our puppy. As first-time dog owners, we quickly learned that many of our challenges were actually the result of human error or inconsistency. Jasmine was candid about pointing that out and helped us understand that successful puppy training also requires the owners to adjust their own behaviors, timing, and communication. She was engaging, patient, and always gave us straightforward, constructive feedback on what we could be doing differently as pawrents. After each session, she also gave us a personalized plan of things to practice at home so we could continue building on what we learned between visits. She never just told us what to do but she took the time to explain the rationale behind each technique, which made it much easier for us to understand and apply on our own. By the end of our six sessions, our pup had certainly learned a lot, but perhaps more importantly, Jasmine helped build our confidence as dog owners. We left feeling much more comfortable understanding how to communicate with, train, and reinforce good behaviors with our puppy moving forward. We are incredibly grateful for Jasmine’s patience, knowledge, honesty, and personalized approach. If you are a first-time dog owner or simply looking for someone who will take the time to understand both you and your dog, we would absolutely recommend working with Jasmine! The sessions flew by!

  My experience was terrible. The haircut for my Pomeranian was awful, badly cut, and they practically left him hairless. They also cut one of his paws, which is now red and bothering him. I definitely don't recommend this place.
