Bond Vet - Long Island City is a premiere vet clinic offering primary and urgent care. Visit us for wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, surgery. We are also here for same-day care for timely symptoms such as rashes, ear issues, eye issues, wound care, GI issues and more, which could get worse with time. At Bond Vet - LIC, we understand that your pet is more than “just an animal” — they’re part of your family, and it is our goal to strengthen the human-animal bond through better pet care. Our compassionate, caring team goes above and beyond so you and your pet feel safe and comfortable — which hasn’t always been the case for vet visits. We believe in transparency, so our nursing team will always review estimates and various routes of care so you can make an informed decision and never be caught off-guard by a bill. To make an appointment, you can book online at bondvet.com, call us or simply walk-in — we reserve slots throughout the day for walk-in care. We look forward to having you as a part of our Bond Vet family here in Queens.

My cat was seen by Dr's. Quesada and Mihailovich. They were compassionate and caring every step of the way. Unfortunately she was beyond even their skilled hands amd had to be put to sleep to end her pain. Even afterwards they showed care and kindness towards her and us. Grateful for their efforts and will always be.

Recently our young pet cat was brought to Bond Vet and was under the care of Dr Mihailovich and Dr Quesada. I cannot express how grateful I am with the care and sensitivity they had to my son who brought the cat in for treatment. If it were not for there deep empathy and compassion I am not sure how my son could have made it through that day. Thank you for taking care of both the pet and the owner.

I recently went to this clinic out of options, I found that they were much cheaper along with a loving and caring staff. They did everything they could for my sweet baby even when it came time for her to go. I reccomend this place for any looking for a more reasonably priced vet clinic. The service was amazing, please keep saving other animals.

Dr. Jodie Poller at Long Island City location is unprofessional. Her representation during the vet visit creates a potentially misleading impression about the cost or necessity of care. I came in for rabies vaccine. She recommended a fecal test as part of the annual check up. I declined and said we will do that in September 2026, when the other vaccines are due. She said, “Sure, I’m not forcing anyone to do anything.” Yet the estimate I was shown AFTER this conversation still included various fees associated with the fecal test, which vastly inflated the total estimate charge by a couple hundred dollars, was unrelated to the reason for the visit, and was shown to me after I had expressly declined it. Both the nurse and Dr. Poller became defensive after I pressed questions, claiming that this is “just an estimate”, not an actual overcharge, and that it has always been Bond Vet’s policy to include all recommended treatments regardless of the customer’s express declination. The veterinarians I’ve experienced at Bond Vet so far all took off recommended treatment BEFORE an estimate was sent to the customer, but they gaslighted me by claiming that this was never the case. I found that estimate misleading. In my view, presenting costs for declined or unrelated services risks misleading consumers about the true cost of care and raises concerns similar to those addressed by New York General Business Law § 349, which prohibits deceptive business practices. Please confirm if this is an issue with Bond Vet’s overall policy, or if it’s an issue with Dr. Poller. If the former, I will switch to another vet.

I made an urgent appointment for my dog Hazel at 6:40am for an 8:30 slot. I arrived at 8:50 explaining the reason being late because of her diarrhea (the same reason for the appointment) and they are charging me $30 more for the exam fee for being late even though I made the appointment less than 2 hours before for an urgency. I understand clinics have policies, but given the circumstances, I think it’s quite unreasonable and lacking compassion for an already stressful situation. I wish they could have made a one-time exception given the circumstances. In the future I'll evaluate making appointments with them more carefully
