  Good morning, On July 20, 2026 I had to bring my dog, Seaver to the Vetco Total Care in Plainview. He had some medical issues, and was in distress that morning, not doing well at all. Seaver had to be put to sleep. Dr. Fady Bekhit and his staff were amazing through this process. Their compassion, sensitivity and professionalism were unsurpassed. Although my grief was inconsolable, Dr. Bekhit's actions and words made it very heartwarming. Thank you Dr. Bekhit for your kind and caring words that meant, and will always mean so much to me and Seaver.

  Isa has been a wonderful trainer for our dog, Oreo. We initially came to Petco because Oreo was struggling with anxiety and aggression, partly because we had missed the mark on socializing him enough when he was younger. Isa was instrumental in helping us understand the root of his behavior. He essentially translated “dog language” into human language and helped me recognize not only what Oreo was experiencing, but also how my own reactions could unintentionally reinforce the dynamic. For example, I realized that I would become anxious whenever we encountered another male dog, and Oreo could pick up on that tension. After just four sessions, we have established a much stronger baseline of commands and behaviors. One of the most important has been teaching Oreo to go to his “place” and stay there, which has made a real difference when people come to our home and helps everyone feel more comfortable and safe around him. I also really appreciated Isa’s suggestion to bring my children to a training session. He explained to them how important it is for everyone in the family to use the same commands and respond consistently so Oreo receives clear, predictable guidance. Isa has helped us understand that training is not just about changing the dog’s behavior—it is also about teaching the humans how to communicate with the dog more effectively. That shift in perspective has been incredibly valuable for our whole family.

  I had such a great experience at Petco in Plainview! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals and their customers. Everyone was patient, knowledgeable, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. Their store manger Deana is one of the best she knows her stuff and always so sweet and kind to everyone . My daughter loves her green hair ! The store was clean, organized, and had a great selection of everything I needed for my pets. I really appreciate the excellent customer service and positive atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Petco Plainview to anyone looking for a great pet store! 🐾❤️

  Took my new husky (normally extremely calm) in today and it was his first time in a pet store. He was overstimulated, dragging us to the point of almost making us fall over, nearly made my sweet 50+ year old mum trip cause she tried to help control him too. Bless her heart. None of my usual training was working on him, so I resulted to using my "mom voice" on him, and he started to cooperate more. We had to hold that leash like our lives depended on it and play tug of war for him to listen. Fed him treats to reward him whenever he sat down and let us browse. So... Heavyset lady with green hair decided the best course of action was to stalk us, follow us through every aisle instead of idk... HELPING? Giving advice on large dog handling? Offering to help find the best items for my baby? She absolutely overheard all our conversations about what we were looking for (sturdy bones, Science diet dog food, good training treats etc) and she just followed us in such an obvious way that we didn't even bother asking her for help. We just felt extremely stressed and unwelcome, wandering around aimlessly finding items with a massive powerful dog and wanting to LEAVE ASAP. Scrawny guy at the register was acting weird too. Didn't even say hi, just stared like we were aliens. Like dude... you work in a pet store. We're clearly first-time owners of a husky, I'm a 110 lb woman struggling with my dog while simultaneously trying to provide the best products for him. Why not offer some advice or SOMETHING man. It's insane that their customers helped more and gave better advice than the people literally PAID to help pets and their owners. First and last time we'll be going there. And in case you were wondering... YES We're black 😂 Must be abusing our precious pup and possibly stealing right? Lol horrible experience. P.s. He does love the products I ended up buying for him at least. Haha crazy pup ❤️

  This was my first time using the veterinary clinic inside Petco, and I couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was welcoming, kind, and professional. China, the veterinary nurse, was an absolute sweetheart. She was compassionate, incredibly hands-on, and took the time to explain everything, making me feel comfortable and well-informed throughout the visit. Dr. Fady Bekhit was truly exceptional. He was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely caring. One of my little ones, Loki, had an allergic reaction to his vaccines, and Dr. Bekhit immediately took charge. He placed Loki on IV fluids and carefully monitored him for over an hour, making sure he was feeling much better before allowing him to go home. His attentiveness, expertise, and genuine concern for Loki's well-being meant the world to me. He also took wonderful care of my other baby, Bella. Dr. Bekhit performed a very thorough examination and even took a swab from her ear to determine exactly what was causing her discomfort instead of simply guessing. The test confirmed that Bella had a yeast infection in her ear. He prescribed the appropriate medication and took the time to explain the diagnosis, treatment plan, and what to expect during her recovery in a way that was easy to understand. I truly appreciated how thorough and caring he was. The entire team went above and beyond to provide outstanding care. Their compassion, professionalism, and dedication truly exceeded my expectations. It is rare to find a veterinary team that treats your pets as if they were their own, and that is exactly how we felt during our visit. I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for exceptional veterinary care. Thank you to Dr. Fady Bekhit, China, and the entire staff for taking such wonderful care of my sweet Loki and Bella. We are so grateful and will definitely be returning for their future care!
