  If I can give 0 stars I will. Traveled an hour to get an allergy shot for my pup that has been out of stock according to them for weeks. The three reminder calls would have been helpful to then state you don’t have the injection I came for. Will not recommend. Wasted my time

  I came to this store to purchase a snake. There were three female staff members present, which included the store manager and two additional employees.I am a returning customer at this location. I have previously bought guinea pigs and hamsters here, and I have registered an account with Petco. I have never run into this kind of issue before.Today is my birthday according to the Chinese lunar calendar. I was excited to buy a snake, my favorite pet, as a gift to celebrate my birthday. It takes me around 30 minutes to drive from my home to this store. I made this trip specifically to buy a snake. Because of what happened, I would need to drive all the way home to get my physical ID and drive back again. This wastes a great deal of my time. I have important personal commitments this afternoon that have been disrupted.When I attempted to complete my purchase, they immediately requested ID to verify I was over 18 years old. I did not bring my physical ID with me. I showed them my insurance card and a photo of my passport stored on my phone. Both documents display my full name, photograph, and date of birth confirming I was born in 2005 and am over 18. My name matches exactly on both forms.They barely reviewed my documents and refused to accept them. Out of the three‑member group, the third female staff member spoke to me in a very hostile and rude way and kept rejecting my request outright.I also work in the service industry. I always serve my customers with a friendly and polite attitude. I understand how customer service should be properly handled.I observed other customers in the store were not asked to show any identification. I believe I was held to a different standard because I am Asian, and I experienced discriminatory treatment. I purchased pets from your store last year and the year before. The service was pretty good back then. Now there are new staff whom I do not recognize, and their service attitude is extremely poor. I understand many people do not enjoy going to work, and employees might give customers perfunctory, cold treatment. I can sympathize with that because I also work in the service industry. However, that is no excuse for them to take out their bad mood on customers like me.

  Don’t bother coming to this location for vet services, the front desk staff just sits there picking his ear and nose, he’s so unprofessional and greasy. I wouldn’t trust him with an iguana.

  ONLY LEAVING 5 STARTS IF NOT OWNER REPORTS COMMENTS (SAD) The store itself is well stocked and clean. Friendly cashier and convenient location however I could not recommend their vet or grooming services to anyone. Receptionist at the vet office ignored me to finish her conversation on her headphones and seemed annoyed when I asked about pricing. Not that their grooming staff is any better after over hearing two girls talk and say all Asians look the same. I did not hear all of that conversation but that was enough for me to be disgusted. Its disappointing to hear racism and be treated like a chore at a local pet store so for that I will not be returning but they will most likely have what you need if you cant visit any where else. I would highly suggest going somewhere else

  Manager girl with green hair is absolutely horrible....rude nasty personality horrible customer service!! Manager needs to be fired !!!!
