- FBFrank BubOct 13, 20261.0I waited for 1.5 hours with a new unvaccinated puppy. I could not put him down and he would not wait any longer. I understand that delays happen. But the staff were overwhelmed- and there was no communication. Also my appointment was moved so a vet could see me. I will not attend Banfield again. I'm done!

Lateef called me prior to my appointment, very reassuring/professional individual, I was looking forward to meet in person. Upon arriving the staff almost knew who Rafaela (my babygirl, Dog) and I were. (Her name was on the wall) Beyond professional, they were a delight to interact with! Everyone showed love to my baby girl. They were fast, efficient, professional, dope, clean people. Amy, working alongside Lateef were amazing at the front desk. Above and beyond service to say the least. Hennessy the nurse, working with the Vet spoke to me about Rafaela, addressing and asking any concerns I had. She was so friendly, it felt safe and positive. I spoke with the Manager Stephen over the phone and he sounded like an amazing person as well. I'll be bringing Rafaela here from now on. - HHHeatherSep 24, 20265.0We had an emergency visit with our pet and it went wonderfully. Re: the emergency, we left banfield a message during the time they were closed. They got back to us in a timely manner. Amy (front desk) called with an assuring and comforting voice, got us in that day. Upon arriving, once we checked in, Amy remembered the situation, kindly greeted and assured us we would be seen shortly, and within 10-15 minutes the nurse practitioner (who was also very polite and professional) came out to take our pet for the examination. Everything went well. Amy was absolutely amazing. After the nurse confidently broke down what was unfolding and all that needed to be done, Amy provided us with so much wonderful information to aid us in our day to day interactions with our pet. We’ve been with banfield for quite sometime (12+ years) and this visit truly reassured us that this is the plan to stay with. The front desk team is so important, it can make or break a visit, and Banfield (@Pelham) has a great front staff. The nurse practitioners, who don’t get enough credit, are on it and make sure you’re leaving with the appropriate instructions. Rarely meet with or interact with the actual veterinarian themselves, appear to be doing a good job because the nurse practitioners are the representation. Additionally, the interactive app is making things easier in our communications.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
