  Dr. Goldberg and assistant were amazingly attentive to my dog, being patient, professional and informative. The process was prompt, inexpensive and overall very satisfactory. Highly recommend the services of Petco and Shotvet. We will certainly return for more necessary pet care offered!

  Llevé a mi perrita a Petco Veterinary en Patchogue el 29 Mayo porque estaba vomitando y muy enferma. Me ofrecieron exámenes de sangre, radiografías o medicamentos con un costo de más de $1,000, pero no me explicaron con claridad la gravedad ni qué opción era realmente prioritaria. Solo pude elegir los medicamentos en ese momento. En los días siguientes su condición empeoró y falleció. El 14 Junio. Me quedo con una gran tristeza y la sensación de que faltó una comunicación más clara en un momento tan difícil. Ojalá mejoren cómo explican la urgencia de los casos para otras familias.

  Petco is an outstanding place for dog parents. This is the only place I bring my Jack Russell/ Lab for grooming, medical and purchase the best food for her diet. The whole Petco team is knowledgeable, friendly and caring. The store is highly secured, so you can shop at ease knowing surveillance is on point. I truly recommend it for anyone interested in getting quality products and services. Thank you Petco for always taking care of Kiki she’s hesitant when she’s about to get groomed but when it’s time for pick up she’s wagging her tail, freshly cleaned and a happy doggie. I never forget to show the groomers my appreciation.

  I was very disappointed with my recent grooming appointment at Petco. The groomers arrived over 26 minutes late, yet customers are expected to arrive on time or risk having their appointment canceled or rescheduled if they’re even 10 minutes late. It feels like there’s a double standard when it comes to respecting people’s time. As a customer, I plan my schedule around my appointment and expect the same level of professionalism and punctuality from the staff. If customers are held to strict attendance policies, employees should be held to similar standards. A simple apology doesn’t make up for the inconvenience and wasted time. Petco should review its policies and ensure they are applied fairly to both customers and staff.

  Grooming: Unpredictable and Unprepared for a large dog with long hair. Booked in advanced and turned away for a service for a proper hair cut. Groomer stated it would take too long and wasn’t scheduled long enough today to do the haircut, so the whole thing was cancelled. She said it could be done if my dog were to be shaved… Absolutely not. I mentioned my pup gets irritated with short hair and has ended up in the Vet due to over plucking in ears and shaving irritation. Still said the haircut wasn’t possibly due to her not being scheduled long enough for his haircut. Very aggravated. Dear Petco Managers, Possibly schedule your employees long enough to complete a pre booked service with details stated in booking. Highly unprofessional and inconvenient. Thank you.
