  I wanted to take a moment to commend two outstanding employees at your Mattydale, NY location. My 8‑year‑old autistic grandson was excited to choose a bearded dragon, and your associate Brian provided an experience that went far above what we ever expected. Brian was educational, patient, and incredibly informative. He took the time to show Michael how to appropriately hold and care for a bearded dragon, explained feeding and habitat needs clearly, and made sure Michael felt confident and included throughout the interaction. His kindness and professionalism turned what could have been an overwhelming moment into something truly special. He then brought us to a wonderful cashier whose name I unfortunately did not catch. She showed Michael pictures of her own bearded dragons and shared information about a reliable reptile veterinarian. Her warmth and enthusiasm added even more joy to the experience. This level of genuine care and attention was especially meaningful because it came immediately after an extremely negative and dismissive experience at another pet store. Your staff had no idea what we had just gone through, which made their kindness feel even more organic and heartfelt. Thanks to Brian and your cashier, Michael left your store proud, excited, and confident about caring for his new bearded dragon. Their compassion made a lasting impact on our family.

  This seems to be more affordable then going to a veterinarian. I reserved an appointment online which was real easy to do. Picked my time and place / location. They offer you the different vaccinations and you say yes or no no pressure at all. Didn't have to wait long for an appointment either. Seems like the weekend appointments are busier. days

  Terrible store. Twice now I've ordered stuff from here and both times shorted on items. I was shorted on 1 item each time but they got paid for all items and I didn't get my stuff. They use Doordash and this is the second time I've paid for items I didn't receive.
