The groomer did a hack job on my dog didn't clean his sanitary area or his butt , just cut right across on his butt , and left a big bush , bluntly sticking out and then hacked up his mane

This is such a high quality pet store compared to many that struggle to give regular maintenance and care to the animals they’re selling. The staff are educated and passionate, and I make nearly an hour drive just to visit this store. I’ve bought several wonderful fish from them, and greatly appreciate every purchase. Healthy animals and true understanding of their needs is a wonderful thing to see in these stores.

I wanted to take a moment to commend two outstanding employees at your Mattydale, NY location. My 8‑year‑old autistic grandson was excited to choose a bearded dragon, and your associate Brian provided an experience that went far above what we ever expected. Brian was educational, patient, and incredibly informative. He took the time to show Michael how to appropriately hold and care for a bearded dragon, explained feeding and habitat needs clearly, and made sure Michael felt confident and included throughout the interaction. His kindness and professionalism turned what could have been an overwhelming moment into something truly special. He then brought us to a wonderful cashier whose name I unfortunately did not catch. She showed Michael pictures of her own bearded dragons and shared information about a reliable reptile veterinarian. Her warmth and enthusiasm added even more joy to the experience. This level of genuine care and attention was especially meaningful because it came immediately after an extremely negative and dismissive experience at another pet store. Your staff had no idea what we had just gone through, which made their kindness feel even more organic and heartfelt. Thanks to Brian and your cashier, Michael left your store proud, excited, and confident about caring for his new bearded dragon. Their compassion made a lasting impact on our family.
